Come to Greece and have a perfect holiday in the sun. See Athens and all it offers while you enjoy your vacation in our self catering vacation home by the sea. Have fun in the summer sun. Just walk out our front gate and enjoy a cool swim on a hot day just across the road at the famous Beach park of Agii Theodorii; There is no need to drive, take taxis, or ride the bus.

Unwind in the winter. Find pleasure in the solitude of nature with walks along the beautiful pathways in our park bordering the sea. Enjoy life and relax any time of the year; after all, that’s what vacations are all about. For the same price you will pay for a one bedroom Athens’ apartment, you can stay in our air conditioned beach cottage on the sea located within a 50 minute train ride to down town Athens. Both alternatives will give you Athens but WE include the sea,nature, privacy and space.

Our cottage is strategically located for guests who want to not only enjoy the beautiful beach and park, but explore the country side. Access to Athens, ancient Corinth and Saint Paul's church, Mycenea, Epidaurus, Delphi, Olympia, Sparta and many other places are within an easy single day trip. Corinth is 15 minutes away, while Loutraki the popular Greek resort with its casino is a great place for some good night life, just 15 minutes away.

Enjoy the village life of Greece. See the Greek culture from close up, without any tourist trappings or McDonalds. Go for fresh bread every morning, walk on the boardwalk with the many taverns, coffee shops and ice-cream places.

The ultra modern high speed train stops every hour during the day and gets you to downtown Athens in less than 50 minutes. The national road is within a 10 minute drive from the cottage. The bus for Athens or Corinth stops several times a day in front of the cottage. The buses (thanks to the Olympics) are brand new, air-conditioned (no smoking) and relatively inexpensive.

About Despina Boinodiris

Our cottage was built back in 1970 by our parents who wanted to make sure their grandchildren came to visit every summer. And it worked! In the year 2004 we completely renovated the whole cottage (more like gutted it), and installed new doors and windows, new furniture, painting and kitchen cabinets and all electrical equipment.

We have wonderful memories of summers in Agii Theodorii, swimming twice a day at the beautiful beach in the park, watching the incredible sunrise and the full moons in the night..

What makes this house unique

When we have an opportunity to stay at the cottage, we love walking along the beach in the park and going out to eat on the boardwalk, or having a cup of coffee at the beach bar enjoying the view of the water. When our grandchildren are with us, we love watching them bicycle down the park and run without having to worry about cars and safety.

It is great visiting so many important, interesting places within an hour or two max.. And we do love the train.. Ah yes! No more driving into Athens.. I will not miss it.

Huge water park is less than 30 minutes away. many activities await the kids at the beach. Cool restaurant, coffee shop with WiFi right at the edge of the water, invites you for a Capuchino, or a cold beer.

Plenty of night life for all, young and old in the village, just a 5 minute walk. The boardwalk is lovely day and night for a family stroll and a souvlaki or pizza, ice cream or a full dinner.

We really enjoyed our stay at the cottage. It has all essentials beyond and above. It was great not to worry about things such as washing detergent etc. We loved the garden area and veranda and even got to use the outdoor grill - cottage even has the BBQ tools. The village is really close, there is great local bakery and several tavernas. The gyros that we tried there, we the best out all that we tried during our trip. Grocery store is 5 minute drive and has a nice selection. The owners are very nice and accomodating.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Adventure Seekers, Girls Getaway, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children

Our family (a group of 7 including 2 small children) have just returned from a holiday staying at this beautiful cottage. The location in close proximity to the beach is the biggest plus of this property. It also has a large garden/relaxing area with table and chairs and a bbq. It also has a verrandah area for relaxing in the evening. The property is well equipped with linen, towles, cutlery, crockery, washing machine, dishwasher and much much more.
The property is situated within walking distance of locals shops and restaurants.
The train station is a 5 minute taxi ride to and from the property and is easily accessible from Athens.
Overall we loved our stay here and would thoroughly recommend it to anyone that just wants a quiet retreat from their hectic lifestyle.

just wanted to say that we had a totally brilliant time at the cottage. It was ideally located to the town, beach, Athens and surrounding area and at the same time, was so quiet for sleeping. The garden with the citrus fruits was an added bonus and our daughter loved the fresh oranges on Christmas day. The restaurant across the road was superb and well recommended and our big thanks go to Natalie who met us and helped us a great deal.

Overall, many thanks, a well recommended cottage for families and a very relaxing and enjoyable holiday.
