Bed and Breakfast at the foot of the Beemster ring-dike 'World Heritage'. We offer you full privacy with your own entrance and a private bathroom. You can have your breakfast when ever you like. In the room is a kitchen with a refrigerator, a microwave oven, coffee and tea making facilities, an egg cooker and a toaster. Edam, Volendam, Marken, Alkmaar, Hoorn can be reached within 15 minutes. Amsterdam in 20 minutes by public transport. The house is located in a great cycling area and we offer free bikes. At the end of April and the first weeks of Mai you are surrounded by tulip-fields. The famous open-air museums the 'Zaanse Schans' and the 'Zuiderzee museum' are nearby. The North-sea beach (Egmond aan Zee) is about 30 minutes by car. No smoking inside the cottage. No pets.

Beemster polder and 'World Heritage' has pumped dry by windmills in 1612. Just a few minutes away you can visit these windmills. All historic places as Volendam Edam, Marken, Alkmaar, every Friday in the summer there is worlds most famous cheese market, and Hoorn with its old harbour from where in the 16th century the sailing ships left to discover the world, are nearby. Also Amsterdam, and please make a boat trip trough its canals, is only 30 minutes away. By car you can reach the North-sea beach just in 40 minutes. In the old whale fishers village 'De Rijp' you can rent an electric boat and experience the famous 'Eilands Polder' An area of small canals and islands. It is a great cycling area and we have free bikes available. The famous open air museums the 'Zaanse Schans' at Zaandam and the 'Zuiderzee Museum' at Enkhuizen are near by. In Beverwijk you'll find the biggest Oriental market of Europe. The Beemster Cottage offers you a perfect base to discover the best part of Holland.

Ein schönes kleines und ruhiges Cottage, umgeben von Bauernrosen. Der Sitzplatz vor dem Haus ist sehr einladend. In der Umgebung bieten sich Fahrradtouren mit den bereit gestellten Fahrrädern an.
Der Kühlschrank wurde für das Frühstück täglich frisch und reichhaltig bestückt, unter anderem mit frischen Eiern vom benachbarten Huhn und mit selbst gemachter Konfitüre (lecker!). Die Vermieter sind ausgesprochen nett und hilfsbereit, der Service ist gut.
Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und den Kurzurlaub genossen.

Ganz reizend gelegenes Häuschen, im Juni/Juli umgeben von sagenhaften Malven in allen Farben. Sitzmöglicheit vorm Cottage etwas abgegrenzt durch kleinen Zaun. Gute, große Dusche auch für Gehbehinderte sehr geeignet, da kein hoher Absatz. Gastpaar total nett. Anfahrt sollte mit Navigator und im Hellen erfolgen, da sehr versteckt einzelstehend. Dadurch aber sehr wildromantisch.
Nicht weit von Edam und anderen Sehenswürdigkeiten. Gutes Frühstück mit Eiern von glücklichen Hühnern nebenan. Sind aber nicht störend eher dazugehörend. Auch kein Hahn der morgens um 6.00 kräht. Waren sehr zufrieden. Total ruhig in der Nacht und auch am Tag. Nur ein paar Autos auf dem Deich fernab. Super.
