BOAT DOCK AND BOAT SLIP USAGE NOTE: Due to Corps of Engineer Restrictions (whom your tax dollars pay for) on this lake, although we would like you to be able to use our dock, you cannot set foot on it -- not to fish, sunbathe,swim, or to park your boat. This is true for every rental house on the lake. See below for other boat parking options. For any confusion or concerns about these restrictions, please ask for email or phone number to direct them to. We believe that there are better ways to manage dock useage and still protect the marinas, who have the exclusive right to rent dock slips. We believe that it would be a better policy to allow payment to the marina for a dock slip rental (which we would pay), but allow you to display a decal and park your boat in any other dock on the lake. Please make your objections known. Dock owners are too afraid of the Corps of Engineers to tell them, so make your wishes known. Also contact your congressman. This is an election year! We want you to have more vacation choices!

We invite you to pack your suit, hook up your boat (or rent one locally), load up your family and friends, and come stay for a week! We also have a place to board your horse, so hook up your horse trailer and enjoy the Ozarks! Include a day at Silver Dollar City, a day in Eureka Springs, and the rest of the time on the lake fishing skiing, and swimming! (Don't forget berry picking and making pies!)
After a long day of swimming, fishing, sightseeing, and fun, grill your steak and then sit on the deck and watch your kids play in the yard or stroll down to the beach and watch the sun go down. Three bedrooms (BEDROOM ONE: spacious Master Suite with King bed and large private bathroom; BEDROOM TWO: Two twin beds - can convert to King; BEDROOM THREE: Bunk beds in a small room shared with washer and dryer), second bathroom, Laundry, Kitchen stocked like home (since it used to be our home) with spices even; Barbeque grill. No smoking in house please.
Wake up in the morning and go to Persimmon Hill Berry Farm and pick your berries and enjoy their Thunder Muffins and coffee for breakfast, then cook a berry pie that afternoon to enjoy when you come in tired from fishing or skiing! Yum! Yum!
Spring through December is a great time to visit the Ozarks. Spring for the blooming of the Dogwood trees and FISHING! Summer for all the great water sports and FISHING! FAll for its beautiful fall colors and great craft shows and FISHING! Winter for all the lights and the spectacular Christmas shows plus great shopping and FISHING!
The great room living / dining has a large sectional sofa, several side chairs and another sofa. The dining table has seating for 10 with leaves, the breakfast table has seating for 5, and the breakfast bar has seating for 4 kids. We have packed in a big crowd for eating - all indoors. The Kitchen looks on the Great Room , so the cook doesn't feel excluded.

(2 minutes); Branson, WhiteWater, Celebration City, Shows, Shopping(40 minutes); Silver Dollar City (30 minutes); Kimberling City (15 minutes); Eureka Springs, Arkansas - A quaint Victorian Hill town: have a mineral bath and massage, shop till you drop, then eat in the 1850's Crescent Hotel Crystal Dining Room or another fine dining restaurant (30 minutes); Roaring River State Park and Trout Fishing and Hatchery - Missouri's #1 State Park (30 minutes); 2 small resorts within walking distance (Trace Hollow Resort - and Sky Harbor Resort - these would be helpful for family reunions); Baxter Boat dock nearby for boat rental; Several water restaurants nearby; Cosmic Caverns - a lovely cave off the beaten path(15 minutes); Talking Rocks Caverns (20 minutes); Lake Taneycomo (one of the top four trout lakes in the USA)(30 minutes); Shepherd of the Hills (20 minutes); Eureka Springs Passion Play (30 minutes).
