BOAT DOCK AND BOAT SLIP USAGE NOTE: Due to Corps of Engineer Restrictions (whom your tax dollars pay for) on this lake, although we would like you to be able to use our dock, you cannot set foot on it -- not to fish, sunbathe, swim, or to park your boat. This is true for every rental house on the lake. See below for other boat parking options. For any confusion or concerns about these restrictions, please ask for email or phone number to direct them to. We believe that there are better ways to manage dock useage and still protect the marinas, who have the exclusive right to rent dock slips. We believe that it would be a better policy to allow payment to the marina for a dock slip rental (which we would pay), but allow you to display a decal and park your boat in any other dock on the lake. Please make your objections known. Dock owners are too afraid of the Corps of Engineers to tell them, so make your wishes known. Also contact your congressman. This is an election year! We want you to have more vacation choices!
