Torre del Guado Country House is an impressive stone manor house, in Tuscany, placed at the same distance (3 kms) from the medieval towns of Anghiari and Sansepolcro, birthplace of the great painter Piero della Francesca. It is located amidst the tranquillity of the Tuscan countryside, but, at the same time, close to cities of Arezzo - Cortona - Perugia and within easy driving distance from the main art cities of Umbria, Tuscany and central Italy: like: Florence, Siena, Rome…

This historical Villa , dating back to the 13th century, has been carefully restored and transformed into a warm and elegant Country holiday House, where all the modern conveniences, including Wireless Internet connection, have been added to many of original preserved features. The accommodation is divided into 2 beautifully restored spacious reception rooms and 5 lovely self-catering apartments , of different sizes and typology. Apt. Gelso : 78 square metres, 3 rooms, on two levels and decorated in soft pastel apricot shades, lovely ambience, spacious and well equipped. Living room with 1 Sleeper Sofa-Queen, fireplace, dining table for 6. The upper floor consists of 2 bedrooms ( 1 queen sized and 1 smaller twin ) and a well appointed bathroom with shower. It has its own private outdoor dining area with sunshade. Sleeps 4+2 : 4 are the guests accommodated in beds. Other 2 guests can be accommodated on the double sofabed.

All the apartments are tastefully and stylishly decorated thanks to a carefully selected colour scheme of warm, pastel shades (yellow, apricot, indigo, mauve) and enjoy plenty of natural light along with panoramic views of the tuscan landscape and the foothills of the Apennines and valley. Each self catering accommodation has its independent entry on the ground floor from the garden, own fireplace, a fully-equipped kitchen-corner (4 plates, gas, refrigerator, ice compartment, electric oven, toaster..), 1 bathroom, with shower, bidet, sink, WC, and all the benefits of modern technology ( Satellite TV, individual washing machine and heating ). Available, on demand, in every apartment, Wireless connection ( charge € 4 per/day)-. All linens, including swimming pool towels and tables cloths, fans and windows mosquito-nets are provided.
