Today's descendants, Sergio and Riccardo Carpini, after brilliant careers as fabric makers to all the top fashion designers in the world, are putting Villa La Selva through a monumental restoration, of the vineyards, the villas and the winery .

Villa Fabbri was built by the grand duc of tuscany Leopoldo II of Lorena, in fact its style is named 'Leopoldine'. It dominates two gentle hills with 360° degree views of rolling hills that spread as far as the eye can see .
It is completely independent. It offers all the modern comforts and has been decorated respecting the traditional style of the time maintaining intact its original architectural features.

The Castle of La Selva built in 1134 was the last post in the state of Florence, protecting the Valle d'Ambra, situated on the border of Siena - Florence. On the 3 april 1554 a Senese and French army attacked and destroyed the castle of La Selva, at that time a Medici property. The Castle in the 18th century was converted into a bella Villa by the Marchese Piuma and then passed to the Count Ferniani. Villa Fabbri is the twin sister of Villa Felciai (property# 1672), situated on the hill next to it (about 200 mts). Villa Fabbri is a large independent villa with a charming tower; 565 square mts large, it sleeps 22 in 10 bedrooms. there are 8 bathrooms in the main villa (one per each bedroom) plus 1 in the annex, where 2 bedrooms are located (these feature a total of 6 single beds); the villa features a beautiful garden with bbq and private swimming pool (10 x 5 mts).

From the first floor landing you access the beautiful tower which has windows all-round; here you find 1 extra double bedroom with a queen size bed with en-suite bathroom with bathtub.

The annexe, an old barn just 6 mt from the villa, is 135 sqm and sleeps 6: this is also completely renovated and will be rented only together with the villa. On the ground floor is a large room mainly used as a living room or playroom and 1 bathroom with shower. On the first floor there are 2 communicating rooms with 6 single beds.
