Awarded 3 star rating by Lot & Garonne Tourist Board, Bégou is a traditional barn which has been lovingly converted & decorated, giving a light airy feel throughout, whilst also providing all modern comforts. Set in 1 hectare of gardens it is surrounded by beautiful countryside with lovely open views. Situated between the Bastide towns of Monflanquin & Villeréal, it is ideal for more active holidays, or simply for relaxing by the private pool. As well as a beautiful swimming pool there is a large shaded terrace, BBQ, a small wood and well maintained gardens. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything to make your holiday more relaxing with micro wave oven, large cooker, dish washer, fridge & freezer. A washing machine & dryer are at the disposal of all guests. Satellite TV, DVD, video, hi-fi and plenty of books are provided for the entertainment of visitors. All bed linens, towels, with the exception of pool towels, and hair dryers are provided.

Nearest Airport: Bergerac at 40 Kilometres
Nearest Ferry: St Malo at 700 Kilometres
Nearest Train: Villeneuve sur Lot at 25 Kilometres
Car: necessary
Bégou is about half way between the beautiful Bastide towns of Monflanquin and Villeréal. It is an area of fruit trees, mostly plums for the famed Pruneaux d'Agenais, and vines. There is a wonderful choice of restaurants locally, some specialising in the local cuisine of duck, walnuts and truffles. It is a superb area for walking, cycling, canoeing, fishing, golfing, horse riding or simply lazing around the pool relaxing. Visit some of the superb local chateaux, many of which have summer long exhibitions by local artists. There is a choice of grottos to visit and the delightful medieval bastide towns with their evening markets and dances where you can taste the local farm produced cuisine, washed down by the local wines.
