Well equipped apartment in the heart of Kensington, close to shops and amenities. A large terrace which has sunshine all day. Good for outdoor living. Master bedroom has large fully fitted wardrobe. All beds fitted with quality bed linen.

There are at least 3 gyms which are walking distance away, who would welcome short term members. One has a swimming pool. The apartment is above a delicatessen, with its own front door on street level. It is a quiet neighbourhood street,safe and friendly.

Perfect Flat for Our Trip to London

This is the first time I've ever rented a flat as I usually stay in hotels. So, I was a little nervous on how everything would go. Thanks to the owner, Yvonne, renting this flat couldn't have been an easier or more enjoyable experience.

When discussing the terms of the rental with Yvonne, she was extremely pleasant and accommodating. She cheerfully met us upon our arrival (despite our arriving late), gave us a walk-through, provided us with information about the local area (closest tube stations, bus stops, grocery stores, etc.) and ensured the flat was stocked with everything we needed (extra duvet, toilet paper, etc.). She was always reachable by phone and was always quick to respond by e-mail.

As for the flat itself, it was exactly what I was looking for:
- Clean
- Located in a nice neighbourhood (high income area, very safe and quiet)
- Located close to shopping and grocery stores (including a small market next door and a nice little pub on the corner)
- Located very close to public transit (4 min walk to Kensington Olympia tube station, 8 min walk to High Street Kensington tube station, and 5 min to closest major bus stop).
- Awesome back deck with grill
- Lots of room for the 4 of us
- Great kitchen with stove, fridge, and microwave
- Free, fast reliable WiFi
- Cable TV
- Stereo with iPod dock

I will definitely be staying here again!
Recommended for:  Tourists without a Car, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway

Location and comfort

Our family of adults and a child were fortunate enough to stay in Yvonne's Kensington apartment.
We were very comfortable and appreciated the fine linens provided for the beds. The upstairs bedrooms gave privacy and convenience. Especially when a nap was required by some of our group. The kitchen was very well stocked and the oven and dishwasher worked a treat. The outside terrace a great bonus. My daughter loved to feed the squirrels.
Public transport easy to reach and plentiful. Just around the corner were two bustops.
Yvonne goes out of her way to help you with any reqest. Cheerful and a pleasure to deal with. You can't go wrong to stay in her charming apartment.

Great stay in London!

We had a great stay in this wonderful apartment, the owner was very helpful in getting us oriented to the neighborhood and it was located very conveniently to all the tourist sites we wanted to see. The apartment was comfortable for our family and we had everything we needed. It was great to have a mini supermarket just below us and everything we needed was available in the apartment. Would be happy to stay there again if we get the chance.

A wonderful stay

We couldn't believe our luck! We had such a wonderful time staying in this apartment. The location is fantastic - either the number 9 right around the corner into Trafalgar Sq or a short wander up to Kensington High Street Tube station. We really appreciated the luxury touches in the apartment which made the place feel like home. We stayed for a glorious 13 nights and renewed our connection with London. The little shop downstairs was so convenient. Holland Park is just a short walk away. Our daughter appreciated the opportunity to be a kid every morning before all the sightseeing. It really is a beautiful park, less formal than Kensington Gardens, a touch of the rural right in the heart of London. Squirrels a bonus. Yvonne's welcome was lovely and she is so easy to deal with, very flexible.
We will always stay at this apartment when we visit London. Look no further.

Great flat.

This was our second time staying at this flat. We loved the location and the spaciousness of the flat. As previous reviews have mentioned it is only a 5 minute walk to the Kensington Olympia train station and a few minutes walk to bus stops on Kensington High St. Our kids enjoyed playing in the playground in Holland Park which is a 5 minute walk away, although if you plan on going try to go during the week, as the week-end it is packed with kids.
It wasn't warm enough to eat out on the terrace on our second visit, but last year we ate outside every night of our week long stay. The terrace is such a bonus.
