Bedrooms: 1 King with en-suite bathroom / 1 Queen and 1 twin sharing the second bathroom. Extensive closet and wardrobe space in all bedrooms and den. The Den can be used for a fourth bedroom by prior arrangement if required. Bathrooms: 2 1/2 bathrooms. The master suite has a bath, twin sinks, large shower and separate WC. This spacious villa is in a gated waterfront community close to the beach at Manasota Key. It enjoys complete privacy, but is only ten minutes from a wide range of shops and restaurants. The historic town of Venice is close by, Old Englewood and Boca Grande to the South. Places of Interest: Busch Gardens and separate water theme park at Tampa. Very close to us is the Myakka State Park with guided boat rides to see wild life and alligators, and also bike hire for the nature trails. Golf courses abound for all abilities. Mini Golf, baseball cages, go-karts, driving ranges. There are several tennis courts nearby. And when you have done all this you can relax by the pool, of course. Or take in the splendid sunsets on the beach, or in a beach side restaurant. Chartered fishing trips are available 5 minutes away; dolphin watch cruises, or simply hire your own boat for a few days and do all this yourself from your own dock. Excellent shopping in Sarasota. Ellenton Outlet Mall.

The villa is on a small gated community with views over nature reserve and salt water creek with boat access to Lemon Bay and the Gulf from the private dock. Only a few minutes away from many golf courses and the white sandy Gulf Coast beaches. The cathedral ceilings give it a light airy feeling. We have vacationed in Florida for many years, and have selected a location which offers good beaches, a quiet gated community and salt water dock. We have tried to put in all the best aspects of the many homes we have rented, and none of the bad ones. By all means try us, and let us know if we have succeeded.

Spacious sitting areas with a variety of chairs, tables and loungers, and separate lanai with table and 6 reclining chairs. Gas barbecue. Fantastic view over nature reserve and bird sanctuary..

What a fab villa

We got back from this great holiday villa on Friday after spending 2 weeks there. The villa is fab, it has all the facilities that you need and the pool was excellent. I took my laptop and used the included broadband to search for places to go.

It is positioned in a great location and if you find Englewood a bit too quiet there is always Venice and Sarasota not that far away. Our favourite restaurants were the Lock 'n' Key at Englewood beach and the Outback Steakhouse near Jacaranga.

I would have no hesitation recommending this property to anyone and I'd like to thank Karen & David for their assistance before and during our holiday. If we return to this part of Florida, then we'll be looking to se if this villa is available.

Hi David and Karen,
got back from Florida on Friday morning. We loved the villa, thought it was absolutely wonderful, spacious, luxurious and had everything we needed. We used the pool every day. We saw a pair of bald eagles most afternoons plus manatees in the creek. Can't praise it highly enough. Did find Englewood a bit on the quiet side but it didn't take long to get to Venice etc. so it was a great area too.
