Crouch End has been a well kept secret until quite recently. It now has a reputation for having some great restaurants and it still retains a village atmosphere and prides itself for it's unique shops and boutiques. Sally Bourne is a lovely furniture shop - my antique french bed was bought there. 'Of Special Interest' is another lovely furniture shop and my antique book case comes from there. There is an 'oddbins' wine emporium, a great health shop, fresh fish shop selling it's own home smoked salmon, haddock and kippers, an organic butchers, great greengrocers and a Mark's and Spencers all within walking distance. Stroud Green which is down the hill is area too for ethnic food shops, a tesco and some more restaurants. There is an indoor and outdoor swimming pool locally. You would not be disappointed to discover this great area of London. There is also a bus right outside the door which goes right into town if you prefer not to travel by underground. Late night buses too.
Have a look at my other great property in France on holiday rentals reference 9109.
