The distinctive luxury and the elegant style that characterizes Villa Melenia combined with the abundance of facilities provide an enjoyable, comfortable and memorable stay. Villa Melenia can provide accommodation for up to 10 people. The main part of the villa consists of a maisonette of 120 sqm which can host from 2 - 6 people with 3 bedrooms, a large living room, a big fully-equipped kitchen, 2 balconies with panoramic view, 2 bathrooms and 1 WC. If your party is from 6 - 10 people there is another independent apartment available of 70 sqm which is on the ground floor and can accommodate up to 4 people, it can not be let separately. This apartment comprises 2 bedrooms, a big living-room, a fully-equipped kitchen, 1 bathroom and its own veranda with a beautiful view near our private swimming pool and the jacuzzi. Other facilities include air conditioning, satellite TV, DVD Player, CD Player, direct dial telephone, microwave oven, washing machine, fridge-freezer and hair - drier.

Villa Melenia was built to make its visitors’ dream of unforgettable holidays come true. Located on Mount Pandakrotoras in green surroundings and only 1 km away from the beautiful beach of Almiros it combines the joy of the mountain and the beauty of the sea offering at the same time a magical view to the Ionian Sea and the Adriatic. The villa is situated in the north of Corfu, in Almiros, only 2 km from the centre of cosmopolitan and tourist Acharavi. In the centre of Acharavi you can find plenty of shops, restaurants, a big supermarket, cafes, bars and some of the most famous beach bars of the island. Very close to Villa Melenia (150 m) there is a mini – market which would cater for all your needs in case you do not want to go to Acharavi. Spreading in front of the villa is the 7 km sandy beach of Almiros awarded with the Blue Flag by the E.U. On the beach you can visit traditional taverns with fresh fish and home-made food including Greek and Corfiot specialities.

Transport: Villa Melenia is approximately 40 km away from Corfu town and Corfu’s international airport. Access to the island is convenient either by air or by sea from abroad or the rest of the country. There are direct flights to and from Athens and Thessaloniki and starting from the spring months, Corfu is connected to many European cities by chartered flights. Moreover, you can reach Corfu by boat from the ports of Patra and Igoumenitsa in Greece and the biggest ports of Italy: Venice, Ancona, Bari and Brindisi. Corfu town is linked to Acharavi and Almiros by the Green Bus line. The bus stop to Corfu town is 150 m from the villa and there is regular bus service during the summer months.

Cleaning Service: Cleaning is provided 3 times a week and changes of sheets and towels twice a week or more after arrangement.

We stayed at Villa Melenia during June 2009. The villa itself was spotless and thoughtfully decorated and equipped, but something you really can't put a price on is the views. On one side, the fullgreen mountain and the other the Adriatic with the pool and BBQ areas having an EXCEPTIONAL view. My highlight was definitely having breakfast on the terrace taking in the beautiful view in the sun.

We had a fabulous time at Villa Melenia and really appreciated the little extras that you provide - the photos on the internet are good but when we arrived there we realised the villa was even better than we had anticipated! Acharavi is a few minutes drive and had everything you need from fresh fish market to large supermarkets, so you get the seclusion of the villa with the convenience of local amenities!

The owners were well-prepared for children and babies with cot and bedding/highchair etc. Villa Melenia is a real find and we will definatelly go back.

What else can you do when your 5 and 7 yo daughters keep asking to get them back there and stay a bit longer this time?

The villa is really gorgeous. Being there last summer (July 2008) me and my family had, by far, the best holidays ever. The house is full of amenities and facilities. The people are very warm and they made us feel like being in our own place from the very first day. The view from the balcony and the barbeque area is something it can't be easily described. The swimming pool area with the jacuzzi is also great and offers great times of relaxation. In general, Villa Melenia is a place that someone who seeks for quality vacations has to visit. I will definately do it again as soon as possible...
