Beautiful condo inside, gorgeous views outside

The condo itself is absolute beautiful. It was very well appointed, recently renovated and had everything we needed and more! The beds were comfortable, the sheets and towels were very high quality, the flat screen TV's were great. The high speed internet and the cable both worked just as well as at home. The view from the balcony was gorgeous and we could see the ocean from every room in the condo! We have nothing but great things to say about this unit.
The beach was beautiful, even though we were there during Tropical Storm Lee and Tropical Storm Neal. The beach is a treasure trove for people who like to collect shells. The pool is very small but was clean and comfortable and offered a great view of the beach.
The common areas of the lobby/den, laundry room, rest rooms, elevator, and parking lot were always clean and maintained very well. The only suggestion we would have for the property is to improve the lighting at the entrance; it is difficult to see the entrance in the dark.
We did not have much interaction with the on-site management, but when we did speak to Cindy in the office, she was wonderful. Donna and Steve were out of town the week we were visiting, but other guests that we met who had been there before were most complimentary of Donna and Steve.
The property is located across the street from Publix and CVS, which is very convenient.
We had never been to Longboat Key before. We were disappointed that so many restaurants were closed while we were there; apparently September is the time when the local merchants take their vacation. We did enjoy The Lazy Lobster and Sand Bar in Anna Maria Island. We also drove 45 minutes to the outlets when we were hit with a rainy day. You need to have a car in Longboat Key.
You never know what you are going to get when booking a condo on line. This unit was better than we expected and we would recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet, relaxing getaway
