The cottage is situated in town of Nuits-Saint-Georges, the capital of a world-famous vinyard in Burgundy, close Dijon and Beaune. It is located in the earth of the historical centre within walking distance of shops, restaurants, wine bars and cellars. We welcome you in our 18th century house, that use to belong to the famous Marey-Monge, and that has hosted Bonaparte. You will be in authentic surroundings from the 18th century. We have privileged traditional techniques and ecological materials for creating this cottage, which largely contributes to its charm. We are at your disposal to advise you visits, hikes and events in the area and give you addresses of wine growers. This cottage is rated 3 stars. It is completely independant, with its own dedicated entrance. It is located on the ground floor. With 67m2 (721sqft), it can accomodate 4 persons.

The cottage is ideally situated between Dijon (20km) and Beaune (15 km) famous towns for their architecture, in the earth of the "Côte des vins de Bourgogne". You can also discover near Nuits-Saint-Georges : Clos Vougot castle, Cîteaux abbey, typical villages of wine : Vosne-Romanée, Vougeot, Chambolle-Musigny, Flagey-Echezeaux, Morey-Saint-Denis, Aloxe-Corton, Pernand-Vergelesses... Saint-Jean-de-Losne, 1er french river-port, Ouche Valley and its castles... It's possible to attend visit-discovery of red-fruits specialities, visit-discovery of the truffe, wine courses, artistic courses. Vine slopes and their "combes" are a special and natural preserved heritage whereabouts to go for nice walks. In Nuits-Saint-georges, you can discover museum, Cassissium (blackcurrant museum), Imaginarium (effervecent wines museum), romanesque church Saint-Symphorien, marble quarries of Nuits, castle d'Entre-deux-Monts and of course many wine cellars.
