We are located just 20 minutes away from the Walt Disney World Resort, off Interstate 4 on Highway 27. Close by are Universal Studios, Busch Gardens, Sea World, Cypress Gardens and all of Orlandos attractions and shopping Malls.The local area is relatively undeveloped by Orlando standards making it easy to find space in the great and friendly local restaurants and shops with a number of them open 24/7. There are numerous golf courses near us but we are situated right in the middle of one of the best Southern Dunes Golf and Country Club. Southern Dunes is one of the best public golf courses in Orlando Florida and has been ranked #7 in the state of Florida by Golf Week. It is not only recognized as one of Orlando’s finest golf courses, but has been nationally ranked as well. Southern Dunes has been awarded a place in Golf Week's “Top 100 Modern Courses” from 1997 – 2000, a 4 ½ Star ranking by Golf Digest and “Top 10 Courses Built In America 1987-1997” honors by Links Magazine.

Notes:
There is a small threshold (3 inches or 75mm approx') that would mean a wheelchair might have to be assisted over. Once inside it is all one level. Access to the pool area is again over a threshold. The games room has table tennis, 7' extreme air hockey table and table football (foosball). The broad band access is free and the telephone has free local calls. There is also a Play Station 2, DVD films as well as CD's for the stereo. The pool and spa are heatable and there are separate controls on the pool deck for the spa that allow it to be easily operated. The pool and spa also have multi coloured rotating lights that look fantastic. The facilities at Southern Dunes Country Club are available for you use and include restaurant and clubhouses, tennis courts, children's play area, fitness centre, 3 swimming pool, fishing lake as well as the award winning 4 1/2 star golf course. We have a local management company to help you with any problems with 24 hour emergency call out.

Family Disney vacation

I would recommend this house to anyone looking for accommodations when traveling to the Orlando area (especially for a Disney vacation). The location was great and a quick drive to all the parks with minimal traffic throughout the entire week. The house was spacious, clean, and the pool was fabulous. The golf course was also a treat to play! We would definitely stay here again.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Pet-friendly, Adventure Seekers, Girls Getaway, Tourists without a Car, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, People with Disabilities, Romantic Getaway

My family and I really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful villa! Along with the spacious rooms, we really spent most of our time in the pool when not enjoying Fl attraction.The distance to shopping centers and restaurants was very convenient, along with the short time it took to get to Orlando attractions, such as Disney World and Fun Spot. Overall it's just a wonderful place to stay on vacation and it made us feel at home! We Recommend Dreamin and will return our next visit to Florida!! Thanks Again we miss it already;))))

We stayed with 4 people in the villa. What a lot of space for that money! The place was clean. All things needed were present.The pool was very nice for a bit of water-fun. Also nice was the gamesroom, although it was a bit warm in the room for long playing. The owner provided very good information. In the house was also a lot of information to find for things to do in the surroundings.
We would surely recommend a stay in this villa for everyone.
Owner's Response: We try to offer as much as possible at the best price possible and pride ourselves in a simple all inclusive price. Many others charge extra for what we include as standard and we think this is what makes our home stand out. Things like the solar pool heating are obvious but other things like high chairs and cots/cribs and even baby monitors all make the difference we feel to make your stay all the more enjoyable.

Great location, very clean would certainly recommend to anyone.Fantastic for golf nuts. felt very secure. There are plenty of diners on the way to and from the parks. the villa has everything for the family for the odd rest day.

Beautiful home in a beautiful setting

We spent three months here so got to know it really well. The house is beautiful - very well equipped and very clean, with large rooms and excellent facilities. The pool area is lovely on hot days and the games room is a bonus. Southern Dunes is a quiet, safe and picturesque location, convenient for both coasts and also for Orlando. A huge Walmart just outside the gate is very useful and we also became good customers of Dairy Queen just across the road!
Haines City itself holds little of interest, but there are plenty of places to go for days out. Forget Disney - try the State Parks, where you can canoe with alligators, turtles and manatees, or Bok Tower for peaceful walks and delightful carillon concerts.
Liaison with the owner was always easy and quick, and the local management company sorted out a couple of minor problems very quickly and efficiently.
We would thoroughly recommend this property, especially to golfers. The course is exceptional although a bit pricey, and the club provides excellent lunches and Sunday brunch.
What more can we say? This place is perfect!
