Santa Croce Apartment Rental Photos and Description

Both in the heart of the city and close to the main railway and bus station (easy to reach with luggage), east-west exposition, air conditioned, very quiet location, close to shops, restaurants and markets, and one minute far from the most important lines of vaporetto. Few minutes walking to Rialto Bridge and St. Mark’s. Terrace exposed to east, six windows to west, very sunny! Owner speaking fluent English. Suitable for 2 or more persons (two bedrooms), in case of need you may use also 3 big bed-chairs. A baby cot (child bed with fences) is also available on request. Very large box shower in masonry 70x110 with thermostat and steel handle on the wall to help standing (old, children). Please check availability periods and prices in HOMELIDAYS’ calendar which is always up-to-date. The apartment must be left cleaned at departure.

The price mentioned is for 2 adults, tourist taxes, bedclothes and towels included, for a period longer than 4 days. The additional persons will pay 20% more each. 2 Children under 16 stay for free (added bed). In case of short stays of up to 4 nights you must add 70 euros overall + the tourist tax. Arrivals are accepted any day of the week.

The house is located where high tide with red code does not reach the entrance, it is very close to the trails with wooden walkways to get around town at high tide, and 3 pair of rubber boots ar available to walk through the city. PAYPAL accepted.

The Real Venice!

Francesco's apartment is excellent - location, amenities, comfort and value for money! It is perfectly located to access all forms of transport in Venice as well as supermarket, shops and dining-out options. The balcony and roof-top views are magic. It is homely, unpretentious, quiet and very well equipped. From our initial booking enquiry until check-out, Francesco's communication and assistance were outstanding. He paid attention to every detail throughout the booking process, our arrival, check-in, apartment orientation and his accessibility during our 6 night stay. He met us on arrival in Venice and helped with our luggage. He made sure we felt "at home" immediately. We highly recommend this apartment to anyone who would like to live more like Venetians than tourists.

"We had a great welcome from Francesco who gave us clear information about the apartment and details about shopping ,transport etc The apartment was light and airy with a well equipped kitchen. The local area was very quiet yet so convenient for the vaparetto and for walking to Rialto. We would reccomend this apartment to friends.

"This is a fantastic apartment in a very well located part of Venice in the Santa Croce district. It is close to all transport links and within walking distance of all of Venice.

I took my wife here for her 40th birthday and she was absolutely blown away. The apartment''s owner Francesco was really very helpful and totally welcoming. He met us straight off the bus from the airport and talked us through absolutely everything to make sure we got the most out of the visit. Francesco also provided me with good advice prior to taking the trip, which saved a lot of hassle.

We loved the apartment too - it is really well designed with lots of storage behind beautifully fitted wooden panels.

We highly recommend this apartment for couples or for families. Its location is great and it is very comfortable.

"This was excellent accommodation! The owner met us at the train station and helped us with our bags too. The apartment was close to all amenities and walking distance to all sites and transport. The apartment had everything you need to settle in, including staples and pots/pans. We would stay here again if we were to return to Venice. ***** 5 Stars"

"This was a very comfortable stay. The apartment is well located and nicely furnished. I am sure the terrace overlooking Chiesa San Simeon Piccolo is great in the summer time. It is Venezia "residential" overlooking roof tops in Santa Croce.

Arrive at Venice airport (VCE), take the bus to Piazzale Roma (no taxi needed, city fare), 200 metres on foot. Arrive at Venezia S. Lucia railway station, cross the bridge in front of it, go behind the Carlton&GrandCanal Hotel (200 m)

It's true, a very cheap an accessible clean and sunny location in the heart of the city, no problems for check in / out time when you arrive or leave. The mattresses are very comfortable and large: double bed 180x190, single 90x200, bed chairs 80x190
