Would you like to spend a wonderful week in complete relaxation in the picturesque countryside of Tuscany? Our villa is what you are looking for. Located in one of the most beautiful Tuscan landscapes, it is an enchantingly renovated old country house set on the hillside near the little town of Palaia (Pisa) and surrounded by a marvelous natural fresco where flowers, olives and vineyards are some of the main subjects. The accommodation is completely furnished in a rustic way, with traditional floors and nice wooden beam-ceilings. From our property guests may reach every interesting historical city or important seaside resorts more or less one hour. The estate, completely isolated from noise and pollution of towns, is ideal for those who look for relax and privacy. Our vacation home is equipped with all the modern facilities to make your stay as pleasant and easy as possible. There is nothing more to say; now it is time to see our house with your own eyes!

--Lunch: Adults eur 11,00 ; Children up to 6 years old eur 9,00 (per person per day).

The price includes 2 courses (one of which is a lovely pasta dish), water, wine and espresso coffee.

Start: 12:00 o’clock, 13:00 o’clock or 14:00 o’clock (to be specified in the house reservation).

--Dinner: Adults eur 13,00 ; Children up to 6 years old eur 9,00 (per person per day).

Each of the 3 options can be booked only for the entire stay and only for the entire party of guests.

The chosen option must be paid upon arrival at the house and is non-refundable.

The service is delivered from Vincenzo and Concetta, owners of the local pub in Palaia.

This funny and authentic tavern is the right place to enjoy a good tuscan meal “al fresco” in the beautiful veranda, with the company of an absolutely enchanting view over Palaia’s hills.

Palaia is a very small village which has a gorgeous country around. It is definetly a good base to visit the beauties of Tuscany, living at the same time to relax of an uncontaminated environment. Only 15 mins by car and you are in Pontedera, small city but with lots of nice bars, pubs and restaurant as well as a lot of activities such as tennis, swimming pools, football and so on. If you want to visit the Dome, the Uffizi or Ponte Vecchio in Florence (the cradle of Renaissance) you can go either by car (1h20) or by train from Pontedera (50mins). One day you could go to Pisa and lay in the sun on the grass of Piazza dei Miracoli with the famous Leaning Tower in front of you (50 mins by car or 15 mins with the train from Pontedera). You cannot miss Siena with his marvellous Piazza del Campo which in August changes in a Horse race for the Palio. Moreover the location is well related with famous wine itineraries and it is for example very nice to drive along the road to San Gimignano, which passes through hills and valleys, and along which many farms produce and sell their own olive oil and wine for competitive prices. Montecatini Terme, Lucca, Viareggio, Forte dei Marmi and Castiglioncello are also easily reachable. We will be very happy to give information’s about place where to go and good restaurants!

Beautiful House in a peaceful location

The house is set in a quiet and tranquil location with views over the vineyards and surrounded by beautiful tuscany countryside. The house itself is fully of charm and character and is very well equiped and we recieved an incredibly warm welcome to the owners. We would certainly recommend this house to anyone who is either looking to relax and unwind or if you want to explore the area its within easy reach of the main road so that you can visit Florence, Pisa, Lucca, Voterre, Seina, and plenty of other local villages! For sun worshipers there is always a place in the garden to get the sun and for those who prefer the shade there is a lovely covered terrace so you can enjoy the garden without the heat of the sun! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and we would certainly book this house again when we come back to tuscany!
