Can Chichi is a large, luxurious house, which is only 10 minutes downhill walk to the beach, shops, restaurants and Marina. It is located in a quiet cul-de-sac above the town with its back to the natural park and spectacular views over the town and the bay of Roses. On a clear day, the Pyrenees form a magnificent backdrop to the stunning view. Although it is near enough to the town to walk, the area is quiet and away from the hustle and bustle of the town centre.
Can Chichi is on three levels, sleeps a maximum of ten people in five very comfortable bedrooms There is a private swimming pool and several large areas for relaxing, sunbathing, etc. The modern kitchen is fitted with an oversize oven and induction hob. In the Sitting Room there is a large HD TV with DVD player and an open fire. Downstairs the large master bedroom has an oversize bed, large TV and en-suite bathroom equipped with jacuzzi bath and steam/massage shower.
Golf: Peralada and Torremirona Golf courses are a short drive away, and there are Pitch and Putt courses nearby, as well as numerous Crazy Golf courses.
Diving: For diving enthusiasts, the best diving in the Mediterranean is to be found just across the bay at the Medes Islands and regular trips leave daily from Roses.
Sailing: Can Chichi is only five minutes away from the new Marina at Roses, where sailing boats can be hired on a daily basis and sailing lessons can be organised.
Howard & Val came to Spain in 2002 after running a couple of businesses in the UK. They chose Roses as it is very near the French border, giving access to the restaurants and shops across the border as well as the wonderful facilities offered by Roses itself, Figueres, Girona, Barcelona and Cadaques. It is an ideal location. They spend their summers, during the time their house is let, travelling with their caravan and visiting new places either in the UK and France or in other parts of the Continent. They are very happy that holidaymakers are able to enjoy their comfortable, well-equipped house in the summer and are interested to receive feedback on their experiences .

Roses is ideally situated on the NE coast of Spain, only 50 minutes from the French border. It is approximately 1 hour by car from the old walled town of Girona with its excellent shopping and convenient airport and Barcelona is now only 53 minutes away from Figueres by the new high speed train. Figueres is less than half an hour away by car and is the nearest market town containing an excellent pedestrianised shopping area. It is, of course, home to the very famous Dalí Museum, which is definitely worth a visit.
Other places of interest along the beautiful coast are Cadaquès, the artists’ colony, Port Lligat, where Dali had his quirky house and, further south, the Roman ruins of Empurias.
Can Chichi is within 10 minutes walk of the new Marina, the Port, several beaches and Roses town centre, where there are many restaurants and bars to choose from, catering for all different tastes and price levels. In the vicinity there are also several other safe Blue Flag beaches and pretty bays.
Other Activities: Parachuting, including the brand new Wind Tunnel, which is fascinating to watch or to use, Kite surfing, Electric bike hire, Golf, all Water sports, yacht rental, scooter and car rental, power boat rental, kite surfing.
Roses has a Tourist Train which offers three different routes around the National Park surrounding the town, from where it is possible to see Dolmens (ancient burial chambers) as well as spectacular views

Fifty percent deposit required to secure booking, balance to be paid no later than six weeks before scheduled arrival. Security deposit of €500 also required at this time. Cleaning charge of €170 to be paid at end of tenancy. Spain has recently introduced a tourist tax of 50 cents per person per day for all tourists.
