Can Chichi is a large, luxurious house, which is only 10 minutes downhill walk to the beach, shops, restaurants and Marina. It is located in a quiet cul-de-sac above the town with its back to the natural park and spectacular views over the town and the bay of Roses. On a clear day, the Pyrenees form a magnificent backdrop to the stunning view. Although it is near enough to the town to walk, the area is quiet and away from the hustle and bustle of the town centre.

Can Chichi is on three levels, sleeps a maximum of ten people in five very comfortable bedrooms There is a private swimming pool and several large areas for relaxing, sunbathing, etc. The modern kitchen is fitted with an oversize oven and induction hob. In the Sitting Room there is a large HD TV with DVD player and an open fire. Downstairs the large master bedroom has an oversize bed, large TV and en-suite bathroom equipped with jacuzzi bath and steam/massage shower.

Golf: Peralada and Torremirona Golf courses are a short drive away, and there are Pitch and Putt courses nearby, as well as numerous Crazy Golf courses.

Diving: For diving enthusiasts, the best diving in the Mediterranean is to be found across the bay at the Medes Islands and regular trips can be arranged from Roses.

Sailing: Can Chichi is only five minutes away from the new Marina at Roses, where sailing boats can be hired on a daily basis and sailing lessons can be organised.

Roses is ideally situated on the NE coast of Spain, only 50 minutes from the French border. It is approximately 1 hour from the old walled town of Girona with its excellent shopping and convenient airport and is approximately 2 hours from the electric city of Barcelona. Figueres is the nearest market town containing an excellent pedestrian shopping area and is, of course, home to the Dalí Museum. Other places of interest along the beautiful coast are Cadaquès, the artists’ colony, Port Lligat, where Dali had his quirky house and, further south, the Roman ruins of Empurias. Can Chichi is within 10 minutes walk of the new Marina, the Port, and Roses town centre, where there are many restaurants and bars to choose from, as well as several safe Blue Flag beaches. However, it is in a quiet location, away from the hustle and bustle of the town.

Notes: In addition to the facilities listed, there is a cross trainer together with other keep-fit equipment. On the lower floor, there is a large laundry with washing machine. Also on this floor is a bar area with an indoor/outdoor table tennis table. The lower terrace, garden and swimming pool area are equipped with several loungers and tables (one of which seats 10) for al fresco dining. There is a lockable gate leading to the swimming pool, which gives peace of mind to people with young children.

Unsere Ferien waren sehr, sehr schön. Vielleicht können wir bald wieder einmal kommen.

We have just spent 5 wonderful days at Casa Can Chichi. The views upon arrival are stunning. Very well equipped and comfortable. Even so early in the year, we were sunbathing by the pool! Easy acccess to the shops and beach. We will definiately be back.

Lovely, well equipped, house in a quiet cul de sac

We had a wonderful time in Roses. Can Chichi was a great base from which to explore the area. In the evenings we have been able to relax and enjoy the lovely view and the sunsets.
We have sampled the local beaches and roamed around the local towns, but have always been eager to return each day in time to use the pool.

Perfection!

As between our two families we have four lively boys ranging from 9 to 17, we needed a villa with plenty of space, a good sized pool, plenty of outdoor space and a TV with football! This villa was perfect for us and provided everything we needed. The villa was beautifully equipped with a wealth of excellent books as well as travel guides and local information. The views were stunning and we spent many happy hours, lingering over meals on the terrace, glass of wine in hand, enjoying the views!
The weather was perfect and the villa so comfortable that we were quite happy to spend our time there rather than venturing out!
When we did go out, the local beaches in Roses were quite crowded and we prefered to go to Empuriabrava beaches which had great expanses of sand and were never too crowded.
Roses itself was beautiful with an excellent choice of restaurants which we enjoyed on several occasions. Supermarkets were plentiful with a wide range of local and english goods.
Many thanks to Valerie and Howard for the excellent booking arrangements which were clear and straightforward with plenty of helpful information and to Kerry the housekeeper who explained everything we needed to know.
We would definitely recommend this villa to friends and would love to return at some time in the future.
