CHARMING FLAT CLOSE TO THE BEACH WITH AIR CONDITIONING, WIFI AVAILABLE

On the whole this is a very nice apartment but we feel its needs some improvements and past reviews exclude some issues which would help future visitors.

The key plus here is the apartment is very modern and nice with space. Its only just off the beach and the balcony although small for 2 people to sit is a nice sun trap. Plenty of options with well stocked kitchen and welcome water and small touches like washing powder, extra towels is a real bonus.

For us we felt the welcome was rushed,told politely not to use wifi which was like dial up for facebook only and suggested not to use aircon. After I paid deposit I did not get confirmation for several days and almost made claim with paypal. We did ask for ipod dock to play music and promised this so did not pack it and on arrival nothing. The TV only plays German channels so be warned and makes noise as overheats. It needs attention I think on the odd time you want to relax with a little TV not even BBC news.

The aircon is missing in spare room but has fans which were needed, it does beep in the night some type of motion alarm which is not welcome. No welcome pack here so did not know how to turn off. Its a great place but needs some improvements. Main bed is too hard and uncomfortable plus they only put one pillow on each bed which are cheap and not great. Bedding also quite old and tired. The shower is ok pressure but not great and has 50lt water tank. it will shower 2 people just but then goes cold so not sure how long 5 people would take. Its a nice place for 2 people and perhaps small children but not for 5 its too small.

Little touches like only 1 full mirror at doorway nothing in bedroom etc here are niggles. Nothing to spoil holiday but makes the apartment just ok when it could be so much more. The key issue which is missing in the reviews as keen walkers is when you want to visit the square the apartment is on edge of town. It is 2.7km in, we had a card but sometimes both want to drink so expect a 25minute walk in each way! The road behind has plenty of parking but noise early in the morning with bus or something for hotel up the hill so it does wake you up most mornings but no fault of apartment.

Oh yes visit La Cabana great Tapas and friendly owner from Newcastle! A lot of the food places here were a real disapointment from past days working here as a rep.
