Located at the heart of the Provence and at the foot of the Alpilles, the farmhouse Laurade is a Provencal farmhouse from the 17th century, completely renovated in 2007, and rated as a 5 star farmhouse by the Tourism Comity.

Authenticity and comfort are mixed for your pleasure:

- in respect with the style and the architecture of this old farmhouse, located next to an ancient commandery of the Templar Knights.

- With high tech equipment.

The garden: enclosed by high stone walls and with old olive trees, fruit trees and a shady bushes is very nice during summer.

Three terraces offer relaxation or games depending on the hour of the day.

Finally, the private pool (11 x4.5 m) is very safe thanks to an electric rolling shutter and a gate officially recognized as child proofed. 50 m² garden with wood furniture which nicely completes the swimming pool and for nice sun baths.

The Mas de Laurade is at the centre of a very Provencal triangle:

- Saint-Rémy and Baux de Provence at 8 km East with all the Provencal culture.

Saint Etienne du Grès, community where the Mas de Laurade is located, it also belongs to the natural park of the Alpilles which heritage and environment is particularly rich.

Another reason to preserve all the old stones and door frames from the 17th century, specially a beautiful door from 1612, that relates to this part of the Provencal history.

  • A security deposit of 1500 Euros will be paid upon arrival and refunded in a 48h period at the end of the stay after inventory and statement of state of repair.
    A 30 percent deposit is asked upon booking, and the balance (70 percent) will be paid when the keys are handed over after having visited the premises.
  • Our rentals, from March to December, are for the week or the fortnight, from Saturdays 4.00 p.m to Saturday 10.00 am so we can completely clean the premises between two stays.

    Weekend rentals are also available from Friday night to Sunday night, with breakfasts included, for the cooler months (March, April, May, October, November, and December). At the same period, you can also rent a part of the farmhouse for 4 to 6 persons (please contact us for the rates).

    Cooking classes can be organized with a Michelin chef, also tours to the vines with visits to the region and cultural discoveries in Avignon.

  • Each bathroom has an electrical towel warmer, three of which have a bathtub with a fitted partition and the fourth one is a power shower. Towels and bathrobes are available.

  • The mas de Laurade, with its 300 m², has a high tech equipment. Heating or refreshing heating by the heat pump on the ground floor, air-conditioning unit in each bedroom upstairs. Its 110 m², equipped with old furniture, a double side chimney, a large leather living room and computer system, quality VCR and Hifi. Wireless. Its 4 bedrooms of 25 m² each are decorated with Provencal furniture and fabrics, have a private bathroom and private WC. 3 of them are equipped with a double bed (160 and a two 90 cm twin beds in the fourth one). The kitchen, also with Provencal style, is very well equipped: large refrigerator/freezer, two multi function ovens, ceramic hob, fitted dish washer, crockery and white goods for 8 to 10 persons. Finally, a laundry room, with a washing machine and a tumble dryer as well as everything necessary for ironing, completes the available resources.
