This property has three buildings in classical Swedish wooden style: the 105 m² main house, the 14 m² guest annex, and a 40 m² garage. There is a terrace around three sides of the main house which interlinks with the guest annex and the garage. The land consists of 1,345 m² mature garden with large trees and a grass lawn which is perfect for children's play, badminton, crocket or even a friendly 3-a-side football game if one desires. Fyrrelunden and the twin Egelunden is a safe and closed-end-road summer house estate that consists of 100 units in total, centered around a large common meadow with a pleasant 15 minutes walk to the beach. The property is located at the bottom end of Fyrrelunden. It was built in 1987 with ongoing refurbishing, notably in 2002. The entire property is well maintained, modern and built for all-year-living. It has been owned since construction by a Luxembourg/Switzerland-domiciled Danish family.

This region has some unique features where you will find beach, fjord, lake, woods, fields, and harbours. These natural resources and surroundings have offered excellent living conditions way back in ancient times. For that same reason the history of the region dates back to the early stone age and there are also traces from the Viking age (for example, at the bottom of the fjord you will find the Roskilde Viking Museum with the famous longboat exhibition). Yet, despite these many picturesque countryside attractions, the Copenhagen city centre is just 60 km away, a short 50 minutes drive if you avoid the morning and afternoon peak traffic hours. In addition, Hilleroed with Frederiksborg castle is just 25 km away and Helsingoer with Kronborg castle 40 km away with easy ferry boat access to Helsingborg and Sweden.

Additional information about rental rates

  • This property may only be rented for the use of private families. It cannot be rented by travel groups or youth groups.
  • Special pricing reductions:
    Please contact the owner via e-mail for price discounts when booking for more than 1 week and/or when booking for less than the max 8 persons at a time.
    The rental charges are generally including the fair and reasonable consumption of electricity and water usage.
    The property is expected to be left on departure in a tidy state, however, a €100 charge will be added for cleaning services at the end of the rental term.
    Furthermore, a €150 bail will be required as an advance payment to cover any broken or damaged items caused by the renter.
    The bail will be reimbursed, minus any potential deductions, to the renter's specified bank account, upon satisfactory end-inspection and once keys have been returned as agreed, such reimbursement from the owner to take place latest 4 weeks after the end of the rental period.
  • Payment terms:
    40% of the rent amount will be payable via electronic bank-to-bank transfer direct from the renter's personal bank account to the owner's specified bank account upon the joint signing of a rental agreement between the two parties.
    60% of the rent amount plus €150 bail and €100 cleaning charge will be payable to the owner's specified bank account at the latest 6 weeks prior to the start of the rental period.
    Rental period:
    Unless otherwise specifically agreed, the rental period normally starts on Saturday's at 16:00 CET and ends on Saturday's at 10:00 CET. However, this may be agreed otherwise from time to time if and when flexibility is possible to suit the wish of the renter.
