After my retirement as a TV-director and a documentary-maker for Dutch television I am happy to welcome travellers in our quiet guest house BB10 Amsterdam, to offer lodgings and to provide all kinds of information on where to dine, drink or club, on what to see and to visit, and, in general or very specific, on the rich history of Amsterdam or its surprising surroundings. As I have travelled the world professionally for many years, I know exactly what is needed and appreciated by weary travelers in a strange city. Comfort.

Why Theo chose East Amsterdam
Just outside the tourist centre and its' bustle, in a green, quiet, safe residential area (no thru-traffic) next to the subwaystation, so only minutes away from the center * Shops, supermarket (08-22hrs), ATM around the corner. Restaurants, coffeehouses and terraces along the riverbank * And five very fine restaurants in the near vicinity: De Ysbreeker, Le Hollandais, Baut, Trouw and Rijsel * A brisk walk or a short ride brings you to the historical center in minutes, its' canals, its' museums, its' parks, its' markets, its China Town, its Quartier Latin * Parking a car in our street is easy and safe, but very expensive. As it is in all Amsterdam upto 6,00 euro per hour ! The best deal is to park your car in the P+R parking facility Bijlmer ArenA (at 8,00 euro/ 24 hours + free metro tickets) and board the metro/subway to WIBAUTSTRAAT, virtually at our doorstep.
