Take in a quintessential New England weekend. Come enjoy our lovely home. It is available for 2014 Thanksgiving Weekend and a December Weekend.

Less than 0.5 mile walk (leisurely 8 minute walk) to Market Square, this house built in 1906 is a 3-story New Englander in the south end of Portsmouth, dead end street, 3 bedrooms on the 2nd floor, 3rd floor walk up to a 4th bedroom. Central A/C in first 2 floors of house, window A/C unit on 3rd floor, farmers porch to take in a beautiful new England summer and fall night. Patio in the backyard with Weber grill for barbecues. Portsmouth, NH is a wonderful destination town, great dining, excellent night life, NH ocean beaches less than 4 miles away, Kittery, ME outlet shopping very close by. One of the best farmers market is a block away on Saturday mornings. The South Mill Pond Park is 1+ blocks away- (free public access) having a dog park, playground, tennis courts, basketball court. Easy walk to Prescott Park, Strawbery Banke and many other attractions in town by foot.

A 6-8 minute walk to Strawbery Banke to take in the candlelight stroll in December.

We booked last minute and stayed for the holiday weekend with extended family. This home has three floors with the sleeping quarters on the top two floors. Bunk beds were in two children's themed rooms and provided plenty of room for our kids. There was a bonus playroom on the first floor that was FILLED with toys. Two bathrooms were clean and a must with a large group. There is a small back yard with patio furniture and a grill we used. The location was five minutes from all the hustle and bustle of downtown. We were given tips by the owners for places to try and had a nice sight seeing boat trip(cocktails served.) Neighbors were friendly and beaches were approx. 15 mins. away. We went on yelp and tried different restaurants. The Friendly Toast, was a great breakfast place. I would come back to this home as it provided us with everything our own home has to offer. Our two small dogs were welcome and Portsmouth is a great town for all occasions. You could walk around for hours enjoying the water views, restaurants, shops, and street performers.
