Aloha and welcome to Kai Lani, a gated community located at Ko Olina (Southwest Oahu's finest oceanfront resort condo community). Your unit is located near the Ko Olina resort entrance in Kai Lani, which in Hawaiian means 'Heavenly Waters.' Kai Lani is the only low density oceanfront residential development at the resort. The community consists of palm tree lined view channels and building designs that focus on the breathtaking ocean and sunset views. Kai Lani is a special place to call home while you are away from your home enjoying a wonderful and casual vacation.

This oceanfront, 2nd floor two bedroom unit has impressive ocean and sunset views from most rooms in the condo and of course from the lanai. The condo is conveniently located in a 4-plex building just inside the front gate, for easy and quick access from the gated community. The unit includes central air conditioning (with a $200/month electric cost allowance), vaulted ceilings, and ceiling fans, cable TV, phone service and a WI-FI router. The fully-equipped kitchen features granite counter tops, all necessary cooking equipment, dishware, silverware and utensils. The master suite has a queen-size bed, a large walk-in closet, a separate double sink vanity with granite counter tops, and an enlarged shower. The guest bedroom and bath have the feel of a private wing with a side-sliding door that allows a “lock-out” from the rest of the condo. The guest bathroom contains a tub/shower combo and a single sink vanity. Located in the hallway are a stacked washer and dryer with laundry supplies. The guest bedroom is also equipped with a queen bed, small office desk and a large closet. The unit was recently updated with new wall-to-wall carpeting, bedding and entertainment electronics. So several surprises await you in our 'Home Away from Home;' there is also beach/pool towels, beach toys, beach chairs and boogie boards, as well as coolers, and beach mats. You will literally feel like you are at 'Home' Away from Home.

The unit also has a private outside parking space, a detached 1-car garage and is ideally located ~150 yards from a small beach cove (that frequently has sea turtles) just in front of the Kai Lani community, as well as being a short walk to 4 large Lagoons for great swimming and family fun. The new Disney hotel, Aulani, is located in Lagoon 1 and across the street from it is a small shopping plaza with various shops and restaurants. Also in Lagoon 1 is the J.W. Marriott Ihilani, with a full spa services. Paradise Cove with its fabulous Luau and Hawaiian evening show is also an easy walk from the unit. And then a quick ~10 minute drive from Kai Lani is the city of Kapolei; a master-planned urban center with modern infrastructure, cultural diversity, great shopping, and lots of fun things to do. Drive another short 10-15 minutes on H-1 to the Waikele Premium Outlets that offer an exciting collection of over 50 outlet stores from the world's leading designers and brand names. Diamond Head, Waikiki Beach, and the Pearl Harbor Memorial can be reached in less than an hour, and it is an easy drive on route 750 to the North Shore of the island to visit the Polynesian Cultural Center (PCC) and various surfing beaches.

About The Owner

After many business, military and personal trips to Hawaii over the past several years, my wife and I (and a business co-owner couple) decided to invest in a vacation property for both personal and rental purposes. My wife and I both grew up in New England and currently reside in Southern Arizona.

Why The Owner chose Ko Olina

We looked at many properties over the years and decided on Kai Lani in Southwest Oahu (Leeward side) because it was conveniently located to various tourist attractions, military bases, and didn't receive a lot of rain, but still has excellent Trade Winds.

Ocean and Sunset views from this condo are simply amazing and force my return every year.

Great Sunsets

We recently returned from a family vacation in Hawaii and we stayed at this great Kai Lani condo; we will return! Our family consists of 2 adults and 3 children. Saw an outstanding fireworks show at Ko Olina Lagoon 1 right next to the Aulani Hotel on the 4th of July. The kids really enjoyed the Kai Lani pool and heated spa, of course the large Ko Olina Lagoons, and the local beach cove where sea turtles swim. The condo is conveniently located close to other tourist attractions on Oahu, as well as rather easy access to the North Shore where you can find the best shaved ice at Matsumoto's. Travel from/to the airport (HNL) was easy and straight forward. A very affordable vacation at a very memorable location with beautiful Sunsets!!!
