Hunvre Dihun, meaning 'daydream' in breton, is a tastefully and comfortably furnished traditional farmhouse nextdoor to the discreet fluent English speaker owner. With quick and easy access to the ports of Saint-Malo and Roscoff (2 hours), Hunvre Dihun sleeps 5 in two bedrooms. Being Breton ourselves, we have sympathetically restored our stone cottage with all modern amenities but retaining a true breton ambience : exposed beams, antique furniture, stone fireplace. Within a few minutes from all Rohan's shops, pond and the Nantes to Brest canal, Hunvre Dihun is your ideal base for exploring Brittany. The ground floor comprises a living-dining room and open plan fully equiped kitchen, upstairs there are two bedrooms, shower room and separate toilets. In Hunvre Dihun, everything reminds you that you are in the heart of Brittany. Each room has a Breton name and is decorated in a different theme : 'Roc'han', typical Breton furnished double bed bedroom, reminds us that the Rohan family has played an important role in the region. 'Ar ch'oat' (wood) three single beds bedroom, is decorated with pictures ot the Nantes to Brest Canal. 'Ar mor' (the sea) has sea decorations and 'Baradoz Bihan' (little paradise), the toilets are decorated with comic cards. During your stay, you will appreciate the enclosed independent south facing garden with patio, table, parasol, easy chairs, lawn and boules court. No doubt you will enjoy Hunvre Dihun's garden for your barbecue parties or simply to relax and sunbathe. For those who would like to watch BBC or other British chanels, Hunvre Dihun has a satellite TV.

Based in Saint-Gouvry, a quiet location between Loudéac and the medieval cities of Josselin and Pontivy, Hunvre Diun is an ideal base for exploring the Nantes to Brest canal and beautiful Brittany and its rugged coastline : 45 min from north of south beaches. 10 min from Loudéac%?9s swimming pool (water slide, river rapids, paddling pool for tiny tots, aquatic area of 700m2, jacussi, solarium, bar and snack). Only 20 min away from Guerledan%?9s lake and Quenecan%?9s forest. Within 2 min from Rohan%?9s shops, canoeing, fishing and nice walks along Rohan%?9s pond. You will no doubt find our village of interest : in the old days, people used to pray Saint-Gouvry at the founfain for healing. Saint-Gouvry%?9s chuch is one of the few remaining Breton churches to have kept its cemetery around it. Inside the chuch, the stained glass windows (designated as a historical monument) have the coats of arms of Brittany and the Rohan family.
