The 18th century townhouse, rehabilitated and furnished with taste is located in a small typical French village. Originally used as pub and with a silkworm cultivation in the attic, the building has kept its authentic flavour. It retains many original features such as terracotta tiled floors, exposed thick stone walls and vaulted ground floor provide atmosphere and cool retreats during hot summer days. The house with its 200 m2 of living area, 5 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, living and dining room with fireplace, it also provides other rooms, such as an artist studio and a large room in the attic. With the small apartment on the ground floor, the house comfortably accommodates a large family or two families with up to 10 people. You can have your breakfast on the veranda, have a drink and dine in the shady courtyard and observe the stars on the roof terrace with panoramic view. Location: Gard < Languedoc-Roussillon < France

La Bruguière with its 200 inhabitants, situated on a hill in the midst of vineyards, is 12 km from the historical town of Uzès. Uzès with its medieval castle, beautiful old buildings, the most charming market place, the 'Place aux Herbes', the many restaurants and trendy boutiques are an attractive addition to the calm village of La Bruguière. Nearby rivers such as the Gardon, the Cèze or the Ardèche canyon invite you for bathing or taking excursions with a canoe. Within one hour drive you will find many of the interesting places of Provence. The Romans have left the most famous aqueduct, the "Pont du Gard" and the arenas of Arles and Nîmes, Avignon was home of Popes and Crusaders left from Aigues-Mortes, the former port of the Camargue. Places such as Les-Baux-de-Provence, Aix-en-Provence, Isle-sur-la-Sorgue are also a must for sightseeing! Closer to the Rhône river you will find the most remarkable wines of southern France, notably at Tavel and Chateau neuf-du-Pape.
