A very comfortable apartment on 3 levels within a chalet. Well-maintained. Built in Argentière, south of Chamonix. Enjoy outstanding surroundings on one of Europe's highest summits. The apartment consists of a separate entrance, a well equipped open plan kitchen, a living room with fire place, 3 bedrooms inc. 1 on the mezzanine, 2 bathrooms and 2 separate WC. Enjoy the large balcony in peaceful and green surroundings with a view of the cross-country ski slopes, Mont Blanc and Aiguille du Midi. Private, covered parking. Free bus from in front of the chalet. From here you can reach the famous ski region Grands Montets which is nearby. In summer this is a great base from which to enjoy fantastic walks. And what could be more pleasant after a day of skiing or walking than a nice hot chocolate by the fire ?

Location: Argentiere < France

Argentière is within the Mont Blanc massif, world leader in mountaineering. Easy to reach from the motorway or Geneva airport (48 miles). There is a train station in the centre of the village. Enjoy the charm of the old village of Argentière with its baroque church, old traditional houses, shops and restaurants. Just 4 miles away in Chamonix you can see an exceptional historical and architectural heritage. Stroll through the pedestrianised streets and discover places and art-deco facades, as well as the museum of mountaineering, winter sports and Chamonix's history. The Italian and Swiss borders are very close, less than 9 miles. Go to Switzerland and visit the Gianadda foundation exhibit in Martigny (Gauguin, Van Gogh, Balthus) which attracts admirers from all over the world. Or pop to Italy to ski in Courmayeur on the other side of the valley..
