Desperately need a break from your daily grind in the big city? Tired of traffic jams, construction noise, smog, and the navigating through throngs of people on your way to work? Come escape to nature's paradise at Koi Mountain Lodge in the Catskills. Situated on 62 acres of pristine mountain woodlands, this luxurious log cabin style home is the perfect get away. Located in the quiet and beautifully rural town of Bovina, Koi Mountain Lodge is perfect for those looking for tranquility and just some clean mountain air to relax and get away from “it” all. With hiking trails, bird watching stands, snow mobile/snowshoeing trails, and a beautiful Koi pond on the premises, you never need to leave – sit by the pond, curl up on the bench with your favorite novel, and watch the beautiful Koi float along the surface to scoop up some tasty treats (they love the food pellets we provide). The Koi pond is so pristine, you can even swim in it – the water source comes directly from the mountains and underground springs. Or sit on the wrap-around, covered porch with a cup of Joe and enjoy the breath-taking mountain views. The porch has enough seating for the whole crew. On chilly nights, sit on the hanging chairs in front of the fire pit and enjoy the stars. Koi Lodge has all the modern amenities to make your rustic vacation a very comfortable one. For adventure seekers, there are plenty of fun outdoor activities such as fishing, hiking, hunting, skiing, golfing, swimming, kayaking, horse back riding and much much more.
Koi Mountain Lodge features an open layout with updated and modern bathrooms and kitchen. The gas fireplace is simple to use and there’s a separate wood burning stove for some additional cozy heat on those cold winter nights. There are two separate entertainment areas with flatscreens, cable, and Roku so that parents can relax and play while the children are safely away. The covered outdoor hot tub seats 5 comfortably and offers amazing views of the mountains.
The lodge is ideal for up to 6 adults and 4 children.

We have always known that our dream home would be in the mountains. We dreamed of having a log cabin completely secluded where we could truly get away from it all - where we could find solitude; a simpler life to find peace, happiness and clarity in our busy lives; to find that special connection with ourselves and nature; and to explore the unknown and arouse curiosity.
We welcome you to stay at Koi Lodge and experience the perfect place to relax, restore yourself, find balance, and that special connection we all long for ... it's the simple things in life that brings us true happiness. We hope that you may find it here, as we have.
'love the life you live. live the life you love'
Min purchased this lodge in 2013
When we laid our eyes on this property, it was love at first sight... a hidden gem. We knew instantly that this was the place where we would grow old. Driving through the town of Bovina, rural and rustic, with all the beautiful rolling hills and the stunning views of the mountains, you feel like you are in a foreign country. What's not to love about this place? Once you leave, you will yearn to come back for more.
We live in New York City and were looking for a weekend away in the winter. We rented the Koi Mountain Lodge with friends and we could not have been happier with our experience. It was the perfect escape! The house is warm and inviting and it has a huge, comfortable living room for entertaining. There is a huge wrap around porch that looks out over the mountain, and the hot tub and fireplace were clean and easy to use. The house is a perfect place to hang out, simply bring your friends and you're good to go. We enjoyed sledding outside and visiting the local restaurants (Brushland Eating House is phenomenal). The WIFI connection was great and those of us who had to do work could do so easily. Min is very nice, considerate and easy to work with. We will definitely be back!
The lodge is beautiful, breath-taking! There is plenty of room in the lodge for a group. We would have loved to have seen the koi but we stayed on a weekend where the wind chill was well below zero. Min is great to work with. I have no complaints. I'd love to go again in the warmer season.
I stayed at Koi Mountain for a weekend and really enjoyed the space. The main floor has an open, combined kitchen/dinning room/great room while the basement had a separate living room. The bathrooms were modern and the bedrooms were comfortable. The grounds provided a ton of space and we couldn't see anything but forest and cows from the pouch, so you get privacy.
We rented Koi Lodge and had a fantastic 2 nights stay for the weekend. Amazing place and awesome location. Fantastic house with all possible features you could imagine in a perfect holiday home - Spacious Log house, modern kitchen, super upgraded bathrooms, ultra finished basement, big hot tub, plenty of fun stuff etc. etc. Owners are very accommodative, cooperative and concerned. I'd highly recommend this for your perfect holiday getaway.
My family stayed at the cabin in June and we had such an awesome time. When we drove up and first laid eyes on the cabin, we were pleasantly surprised. The neighboring cabins and barns were charming in typical rustic and weather-beaten fashion but this log cabin was just in whole different category - beautifully designed, clean, wide wrap-around porch, well-maintained, open layout floor plan, modern kitchen and bathrooms. You could tell someone took the time to thoughtfully decorate and furnish the log cabin. My kids loved the nearby koi pond, nature trails, bird-watching station, and double bunk beds set up in the basement. Definitely pack rain boots - my kids loved hanging out by this muddy patch by the koi pond. We plan to come back and stay at the cabin again but, this time, in the winter so, we can check out the nearby ski slopes that we hear are family-friendly. Min, the owner, was a pleasure to deal with.
