Casa de las Delicias (House of Delights) is beautifully decorated with folk art, custom designed tiles, and the vibrant colors of Mexico. Guests enjoy the privacy of this retreat away from the busyness of town, and its location: an easy six minute walk to town and seven minutes to the beaches... no steep hills! A car is not essential, although paved off-street parking is available.
The lovely tiled patios are graced by palms and tropical flowers... many spots for relaxing and entertaining. Swing in a hammock or lounge poolside in chaises or under the palapa on cushioned couches, as the breezes whisper through the palms and tropical birds flit about. Swim laps and catch a brilliant sunset over the adjacent orchard, as the jacuzzi jets massage your back. After dark, enjoy a romantic candlelight dinner under the stars.
Sleep in comfort on fine linens, cooled by powerful ceiling fans; as you awake, gaze out at the shimmering pool and colorful flowers, birds and butterflies. Linger over breakfast in the new, well-equipped eat-in kitchen before a day of discovery and fun.
If you are looking for a truly lovely vacation home, moderately priced, with a GREAT LOCATION, this is the house for you! Bienvenidos a Casa de las Delicias... Welcome!!
Great for our family of four. Home is decorated beautifully. Well appointed. Pool is larger than what it look like in the pictures. Surroundings gorgeous! 5 minute walk to beaches or town center. We would visit again. The property manager, Laysha, is knowledgeable and friendly.
I just returned from my trip to Sayulita with my husband and 18 month old. We loved this house! The distance to town was great, an easy 10 minute walk to town that we did several times a day with a toddler with and without our stroller. Lots of activity (chickens, roosters, baby chicks) on the walk that made it fun. We loved the pool and outdoor shower. We always felt very safe, no concerns at all. Laysha was amazing, such a great resource to us! Sayulita is such a special town, was so happy we didn't see any "spring breaker" type crowds here. Great family vacation. The only downside we experienced was the next door neighbors' two pitbulls that bark constantly. A few times they kept us up or woke up our baby. Pretty annoying, but what can you do?
We had a lovely stay in June. The home was very nice and the pool is amazing - particularly since we were staying in the hot season. The location is removed from the noisy town center but an easy walk to everything. With 2 toddlers, we rented a jogging stroller from sayulita beach baby and it was a lifesaver with sweaty tired children. Connie was a delight to interact with, and the person who manages the property for her (Nancy) speaks English and is very responsive. She was able to give babysitting recommendations which was very nice. Regrettably, I left my camera behind when we departed, but the cleaning person found it and Nancy worked with me to return it. It was very much appreciated. A great stay with great people.
If you are looking for a great location while staying in Sayulita... Look no further! Casa de Las Delicias is a wonderful place to stay. My 11yr old daughter and I were there for a week, before moving into our home in San Pancho, it was so nice it was hard to leave!! Now... I am a veteran at visiting the town of Sayulita, and have stayed at several locations. This house is in an ideal spot! It's close to town, just a short stroll away... Yet it backs up to a beautiful open jungle view, so you feel away from it all. And although the house is adorable... Our favorite part was the POOL!! All time favorite pool out of all the places we've stayed in Sayulita...it is amazing!! Plus the owner Connie is a joy and delight! I hope you enjoy your stay as much as we did!!
We had a great time at Casa delicias. The location was a short walk to town and the main beach. The casa was perfect for us which was 2 adults and 3 kids, 12 and under. They loved the pool. My husband and I loved the bench with the jets in the pool. The quiet town of Sayulita was just what we needed to relax.
