Our visit

We booked this villa for two weeks in early June 2011 for our holiday stay in Florida. This was our second trip to the area but our first in a villa. I had been recommended the Mission Park estate by a friend therefore had no problem in booking. The gated community is quiet and secure, immediate neighbours are friendly, in fact one of them is the villas maintenance man so not far to go if any problems arise. Around the immediate area is a new supermarket, two minutes drive, the 192 is 2 miles away and has a huge anount of restaurants, our favourite was Houlihans. A tip for visiting the Disney Parks is to avoid World Drive on the 192 and head off at Sherberth Rd, much quicker, and coming back head for signs for Animal Kingdom Lodge, this gets you back on the same road, saved us alot of time. The villa itself is large, spacious and very comfortable and well maintained, we particularly enjoyed the pool and pool area though, it's lovely to be able to eat breakfast outside in the early morning and to relax and cool down in the pool in the late afternoon after a long day in the theme parks. The added bonus to this property is that the pool is not overlooked and backs onto natural woodland. Amongst the wildlife we saw regularly were a pair of large sandhill cranes, a humming bird, a parakeet, large dragonflies and grasshoppers. These of course are kept out of the immediate pool area by the mesh surrounds whichare very good, we weren't worried about anything getting in and annoying us. All in all a very good experience and I would definitely stay again. We ordered a small welcome pack as we arrived late and this was great to have as it covered our first breakfast perfectly. A lovely place, well worth a stay
