Welcome to our 1,300 square foot, light, bright and fully furnished penthouse villa. Tall ceilings and four walls of windows make our villa bright, open and comfortable as you walk through the front door.
The first floor includes a living room, dining area, half bath and fully equipped kitchen with a large window that opens out to the patio.
The 30-foot balcony stretches from the kitchen to the living room and has two separate sitting areas overlooking the shops and Shelter Cove. Three sets of sliding glass doors can remain open to let the harbor breezes roll in.
A spiral staircase leads you up to the master bedroom that has a queen size bed, walk-in closet, flat-screen TV and windows that look out over the harbor shops. The master bath has a large vanity with dual sinks, walk-in shower and a large whirl pool tub.
After a full day of golf, biking, tennis or shopping, relax and have a cocktail on your private balcony and listen to the music from the boardwalk. Take a walk by the marina and watch the sunset over the picturesque Shelter Cove Harbour. Have dinner water side at any one of the six restaurants along the Shelter Cove Marina. Enjoy a glass of wine or a margarita while you listen to live music at one of the many outside, harbor front cocktail lounges.
Easy access to golf at three of the award-winning Palmetto Dunes Plantation golf courses. Bike rentals can be delivered right to your villa, or store your own bikes in the gated parking area.
Shelter Cove is part of the most beautiful resort area on Hilton Head Island... Palmetto Dunes Plantation. Palmetto Dunes Plantation has three miles of sandy white beaches that are just a short, 25-minute walk or 10-minute bike ride from the villa.
There is private parking at the beach for Shelter Cove guests or you can take the free 'Beach Buggy' that runs from March - October.
If you feel like shopping, the Hilton Head Island Mall is just a 20 minute walk and the Shelter Cove Strip Center with additional restaurants, liquor stores, TJ Maxx, and Kroger Supermarket is another 5 minutes away.
If you enjoy musicals, the Hilton Head Live Theatre is right outside your front door. If you have kids and/or grandchildren, they will enjoy pool on property and free fireworks over the harbor on Tuesday nights during the summer.
While you are on vacation, you can feel comfortable with your car and bikes secure in the gated and partially covered parking garage.

7160 Harbourside is located in Shelter Cove (Palmetto Dunes). The villa is in a central location on the island with easy access to the beach, golf, spa, tennis, restaurants and much, much more. The villa itself, is a corner unit located on the top two floors of the building with plenty of windows to let in the natural light and fresh island breeze.
Shelter Cove is highly recommended. There is always something going on for the kids. Now there is a Kroger grocery store within walking distance. The penthouse was nice. A little dated. Needs some cosmetic help. Good location for the price. Would think about renting again next year.
just returned from a 7-day stay in this villa on Hilton Head Island. We found everything about the place just as it was presented on VRBO. The unit was clean and central to many interesting and entertaining activities. Wouldn't hesitate to return in the future! Thanks for helping us feel at home in this wonderful locale. (p.s. a new coffeemaker is needed in the near future)

We enjoyed our stay at this condo. The location was super with shops and restaurants steps away. The unit was clean, and the owners gave excellent instructions on how to manage the logistics on getting the parking pass and using the lock boxes, gate codes, etc.

We stayed in a hotel up the street the Friday before and had to check out by 10am the owner was very nice and allowed us to check in earlier (12:00) than their normal check in time. The villa had already been cleaned when we arrived which was great. The Harborside has luggage carts for your use to bring luggage up which was very helpful. Villa is very clean and well maintained .The view is okay, you can see the goings on down below. Price is also great for the location. We rode our bikes to the beach everyday! We went to the pool only one day, I did not care for the pool area it is surrounded by cement walls and in a parking lot so you hear cars coming in and out and driving by. Did not hamper us in any way as we love the beach anyway! Only real negative was the bed was not comfortable for us, they put a bed topper on it, (may have been a feather type bed topper) and my husband woke up sore each day. I think it will soon need replacing. The kitchen could use a sink strainer because there was only the two of us we washed our dishes by hand so we just put down a dish towel to rest them on. We ate at San Miguels, Scotts Fish Market and Little Venice, which are all in the Shelter Cove and it was great to be able to just go downstairs and walk to them. We had a great stay and I would definitely recommend this Villa to anyone. We love Hilton Head!
The condo was exactly as the owners had described. Even though we did not have a good harbor view we did have an entertaining view of the activity at the harbor. The locaton of the condo was great for enjoying the harbor life and being in the middle of the rest of the island. Thought the spiral staircase might be a problem only the openness bothered me ( afraid of heights). Really enjoyed how light and airy the condo was, windows everywhere. The only regret we had is that one week was not long enough, wish we could have stayed longer.

$200.00 reservation fee upon booking (included in the all-in rate, not an additional fee). The remaining balance is due 30 days prior to your arrival. For example: If the all-in rate was $700, $200 is due at booking and $500 is due 30 days prior to arrival. All cleaning fees and taxes are included in our published all-in rate.
