Surfing:
Best surf spots in Europe... From beginners to professionals, 20 km of sand beaches wild or secured from local surf schools: Messanges, Moliets, Vieux Boucau, Soustons at hand, to the famous waves of international contests like Rip Curl Pro or Quicksilver events between Seignosse, Hossegor, Biarritz, Guethary.
Sailing:
Closer to the Pesquité, on the large lake of Soustons, you can enjoy & practice windsurfing, kite, sailing & go boating. And it’s also a great place to be for fishing or only to stay undisturbed. Most of the lake is still preserved among natural and Wide Park of marshes and forests. Nautical basis of Soustons is facing Le Pesquité eastside the lake.
Forest:
You cross the little road, here is the pine forest where you can walk, or ride your mountain bike for a day and more... with only birds, squirrels, rabbits, deer as a neighbourhood. Here the forest is an ocean you can go through any ways on suitable tracks. And horse riding isn't to be forgotten; of course it remains the best way of discovering in communion this sanctuary of width. If you want to take some altitude, Pyrenees & Basque country is at 50 km and Spanish Border a few more to taste some 'tapas'.
Golf:
Within a few kilometers you'll find a plenty of golf courses, Moliets and Vieux Boucau close to the sea, in a 7 km, Hossegor and Seignosse, in a15 km. Further, Biarritz, 35 km, & many others…, with variety of prices and difficulty, some famous so as Hossegor and Moliets, some with uncommon site so as Seignosse and its altitude peaks.
