We are located at 9393 Shore Acres Lane in relaxing Lakeside, Michigan just five miles north of the Indiana border, directly on the shores of Lake Michigan. We offer a beautiful, sandy, 200 foot, PRIVATE BEACH!

We offer both one and two bedroom units for rent on a two acre, fully landscaped lot. In addition to all amenities, all cottages have been remodeled and include a private picnic table, lawn furniture, and grill. We have been providing memorable vacations to families for over 50 years.

200 feet of sandy PRIVATE BEACH with bonfire pit

**PLEASE NOTE: this property is located on a sand dune overlooking our private beach and there are 106 stair steps. People with health issues may find this to be a difficult climb. (Those with heart, knee, hip problems)

This the 4th time my husband and I have stayed here. The beach is a private beach, which is wonderful, clean and the water is great. The propety is huge and the owners are awesome, Carol and Paul go out of there way to make sure everything is taken care of on the grounds. They even provide beach chairs, beach toys for the kids and sun unbrellas, so no need to pack all that extra stuff. The cabins are kind of old school (with A/C) but that's what we like, and the cost is excellent. We are definitely going back year after year!
Recommended for:  Girls Getaway, Sightseeing, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway

Our family stayed at the Lat's Cottages and had a wonderful time. The beach is beautiful and the children had great time swimming, playing in the sand, throwing the baseball, rowing the boat, and roasting hotdogs and marshmallows. The owners are extremely hospitable. This was our first visit but another family that was staying at the cottages informed us they visit twice a year.
