Levanto Vacation Rental apartment: Dosso

The area is great and very firendly. If you plan holiday there though, you must have a car - the village is on the hill, and the bus comes not often.

We were however somewhat disappointed with the house, although it is sure very nicely decorated:

- There is no car traffic in the village, but if you hope that you can sleep well there - forget it, at 6:30 in the morning you will have motorbikes starting right under you windows. People get up early there and so will have you, because the noise is great.

- The house has no air conditioner and it gets very hot even in the night, especially the bedroom which is right under the terrace. In July/August it is very uncomfortable to sleep, and in the daytime the house is very hot.

- The house has only TWO big bedrooms, the third bedroom is VERY small and has no window - it is definitely too small for two people, and has almost no fresh air.

- The quality of bathrooms and the kitchen equipment is bad. The dishwasher is so old you have the impression it breaks into pieces every time you touch it. The small plastik detail was broken during our stay in the house and the hostess did hot hesitate to charge 50 euro for it in a very unfriendly manner.

- All the fotos on the webpage a made with a very wide-angle lens, so be prepared that the rooms will be much smaller than it seems.

- The house is NOT good for families with small kids and elderly people - the stairs are very steep, and if you have kids who are younger than 3, you will be constantly busy with catching and whatching them.

The summary: the house is nice but definitely much too expensive for what it offers. It is suitable for maximally 5 peolple and not 7, as it is stated. The equipment is old and outdated and the bathrooms are bad. One can find much better houses in the area for lower price.
