MAJESTIC VIEWS FROM ALMOST EVERY ROOM!
Everyone who walks in says 'Wow! That's a million dollar view!' And you can enjoy the stunning view from almost every room! Enjoy your morning coffee while watching the mountains turn from dark grey to bright red to orange to yellow then finally a light grayish brown. Enjoy your evening cocktail while listening to the faint music coming from the La Quinta Resort and watching the sky turn hot pink and the mountains turn black.
PEACEFUL AND PRIVATE!
The home is exceptionally peaceful and private. It faces the La Quinta Country Club driving range, not the golf course, so there are no golf carts and golfers going by all day long. (They sunk the driving range so the balls bounce away from our yard.) You’ll enjoy the view and people watching but with peace and privacy.
SPACIOUS AND LIGHT!
The home is 2,300+ square feet. The bedrooms are large. You will feel comfortable reading or watching TV in any of the bedrooms. All 4 common areas (living, dining, patio and courtyard) are large and comfortably seat at least 6 in each area! There are high ceilings and floor-to-ceiling windows in every room, so the entire home is light and bright!
PLENTY OF OUTDOOR SPACE!
There is plenty of outdoor space for you to enjoy the amazing desert weather! The fenced yard (great for pets!) has a 10x35 patio AND large grass area. The patio has a grilling area and dining area, and the grass area has a large olive tree. The 20x20 enclosed courtyard has a gorgeous fire pit table and comfortable swivel chairs.
The home is in Lago La Quinta, a sub-section of La Quinta Country Club. Lago has only 72 homes, 3 community pools and spas, a beautiful lake, tennis court and separate gated entrance. The entrance is on 50th between Washington and Eisenhower, just east of the clubhouse entrance.
Although the home is in a gated community, there is no guard at the gate to continually deal with. There is no waiting in line to enter and no having to remember to tell the guard you are expecting a guest. You just push your remote to open the gate, and you open the gate for your guests remotely from the house phone.
The home is within 5-10 minutes of La Quinta Resort and Spa, Old Town La Quinta, Tennis Garden, Polo Fields and every major store. If you're not familiar with La Quinta, I can send you a calendar of events, a list of our favorite restaurants and other interesting things to see and do in the desert.
3 bed and 3 bath. Master bedroom has queen bed and en suite bath with separate tub and shower. 2nd bedroom has king bed (or 2 twin beds) and en suite bath with shower. Den/3rd bedroom is the most flexible. It has a desk and printer so it can be used as an office, but it also has a daybed, 2 twin beds or a king bed, your choice. The den/3rd bedroom has an adjacent bath with a tub/shower combo.

A security deposit is optional! You can purchase $5,000 of damage protection insurance through HomeAway OR you can pay us a $1,000 fully refundable security deposit. (So far I've refunded 100% of every tenant’s security deposit!) HomeAway will not issue a policy to a non-U.S. citizen so international visitors must provide a $1,000 fully refundable security deposit.
Check in and out any time of day! We never book a check in and check out on the same day, so you can check in as early as you want and you can check out at late as you want.
SHORT-TERM RENTAL TAX
The City of La Quinta charges a short-term rental tax of 10% on rentals less than 31 days. If you rent for 31+ days, you do not have to pay the 10% tax.

After you've obtained an exact quote, checked the calendar and all your questions have been answered, send us an email with your name and dates you'd like to stay. I will send you a lease to print, review, sign and return to me with a deposit check for 50% of the rent. (I do not block out your dates on the calendar until I receive a signed lease and deposit.) The remaining 50% and security deposit or proof of insurance is due 30 days prior to arrival.

Annie saw the home for sale on the internet and it sounded too good to be true, so when she went to see it she was looking for what was wrong with it. View? Check! Light and Bright? Check! Space for entertaining? Check! High ceilings? Check! Great floor plan? Check! 2,000+ square feet? Check! Privacy? Check! In the heart of La Quinta? Check! Bathroom for every bedroom? Check! Laundry room? Check! Gated community? Check! Nearby pool? Check! We were in escrow a week later!
We spent the month of February with friends in Annie and Vic's lovely home in La Quinta - it was a wonderful holiday. The 'Other reviews' previous guests have written leave little more to say - the home is attractive, nicely decorated, spacious and well-equipped. The back patio facing the beautiful mountains to the west was our favourite spot - with beautiful vistas of morning sunshine and evening sunsets, with the lush green of the golf course immediately in front of us. We enjoyed the courtyard fireplace very much as well for pleasant after dinner conversation in the cool Coachella evenings. And our 'landlord', Annie, could not have been more helpful and responsive. With the cooperation of the delightful Valley weather in February, our holiday was really outstanding and we hope to return.
We were very fortunate Annie and Vic’s beautiful home was available for last weekend’s Humana Challenge Golf Tournament. In the mornings we were able to enjoy watching the pros on the driving range from the comfort of the spacious patio and yard. Even if you aren't a golfer, having your morning coffee on the patio while enjoying the sunrise on the mountains is something you’ll always remember! Our evenings always started with spectacular mountain sunsets (the owners description “Sunsets that take your breath away” is absolutely true!)
The spacious kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed to host sit down dinner parties for 10 – and the patio BBQ area was so appreciated by my husband – spacious and well furnished. Our nights ended with fireside chats in the courtyard – a special touch appreciated by us all!
The home’s furnishings and décor are beautiful, the beds are comfy, the linens and towels were first rate. There was definitely enough room for three couples. In fact, we were so comfortable we rarely left Annie and Vic’s beautiful La Quinta home and we all plan to be back as soon as possible.
We stayed for a month over Christmas and I can 't recommend this condo enough. The location is perfect, and the owners are helpful and friendly. When we arrived, everything was spotless, well equipped with everything we needed, and a delightful welcome basket was waiting for us! The layout is bright, spacious and allows for privacy. We had our adult kids for ten days over the holidays and everyone had their own space. The fire pit table in the courtyard is lovely. The pool is great, all the furniture is comfortable and inviting...the views of the range, the mountains, the sunsets... All great! There are lots of fabulous restaurants nearby, Cork and Fork and Las Consuelas were favorites. We love spending time at LaQuinta resort, which is walking distance, and the trails by the cove were great. The range at Silverrock was wonderful. I didn't want to leave, and I can't wait to come back! This is the best condo in the best location that we have stayed at in the area.
I rented this property for one week over Thanksgiving along with my brother and cousin from out of town. We have stayed in La Quinta for the past three holidays having been at PGA West the year before. Personally, I really loved the community of 60 some homes and it was easy to get to Hwy 111 quickly. The condo is spacious and the rooms are nicely laid out for privacy. The pictures do not do the property justice; just walking in one can view from the floor to ceiling sliding doors, the driving range of La Quinta Country Club and mountains right behind--the view is mesmerizing. The home is clean and very comfortable with every amenity you can imagine from TV's in each room to staples in the kitchen. Annie was amazing to work with; very responsive and flexible and would rent this condo again in a minute.
My wife and I stayed at Vic and Annie's home for a month with two teenagers. The home is exactly as described and pictured. They left a binder with great house instructions. Every time we had a question Annie responded immediately. The home is not fancy but it us super clean and comfortable and well stocked. There is a lot to do in the immediate area. We definitely plan on going back!
