Casa Mennone lies about 800 meters outside the village of Segromigno in Monte. It is surrounded by a large lawn with Oleandri flowers. It has a circular swimming-pool (diameter10,depth1.3-1.5 meters). Self-catering villa. This summer holiday rental has 9 bedrooms, six bathrooms. At the ground floor here is a small living-room with two sofa-beds and access to the terrace,1 double bedroom with access to the terrace, a bathroom with shower and double basin, spacious dining room, equipped kitchen with American fridge, breakfast room with coffee espresso machine, Bathroom with shower. At the first floor there are 6 double bedrooms, 1 single bed, 3 bathrooms with shower, 1 with bath-tub. This holiday home is furnished in rustic style, beamed ceilings, terracotta tiled floors and some antique furnishings and iron beds.

The Mennone house lies in the vicinity of the characteristic village of Segromigno in Monte Whose church is a Romanesque Parish from the twelfth century. The panoramic road that runs through Borghi and Fattorie eventually reaches Le Pizzorne (900 mt above sea level). This offers a great ride for mountain bike lovers and is the Colline Lucchesi wine route. In this area You may discover many wonderful villas which belong to the old aristocracy of Lucca, one of those villas is Villa Mansi, which lies in a beautiful spot. It is also perfect to visit the art town of Tuscany.

You could not expect a better house

It was our 2nd vaccation in a house in tuscany with 4 families (8 adults and 8 kids from 10 to 17 years). We had a great experience some years ago and were afraid that it might be difficult to find something similar. It was even better. The pictures show only part of how good it is. The rooms were perfect, most bathrooms like the ones you find in magazines as examples for good taste. The kitchen well equipped, the table so big, that we could all eat together. Beutifull view from the property, sights close if you want to leave the house. The kids mostly decided to stay "home". Strong recommendation!!

Casa Mennone

I and 12 of my family and friends met at Casa Mennone for Christmas and stayed for two weeks. We
loved the house. It was nicely decorated and furnished (rustic country style) and very cosy and comfortable with a personal touch. It was clean and well maintained. It had everything you could wish for in the way of appliances, crockery, glasses etc. The owners, Loretta and Giuseppe, were more than kind and helpful, always available with advice and tips. We stayed there over winter and it was fantastic with a roaring log fire but I would definitely be great in summer with the lovely large garden and beautiful pool. The location of the house is great (Lucca is 20 minutes away) and it has a wonderful view down the valley also at night. There are great walks up the hill behind the house. I can recommend the house highly.

I stayed at Casa Mennone in July. The location was accurate. Close to Cinque Terre, Pisa, Siena, Florence. The property was very clean. The owner was super friendly and provided great customer service. The villa was georgous and well maintained. Many bedrooms, many bathrooms!!! The kitchen was fabulous. The view fantastic and the pool excellent. Thanks for a remarkable, unforgettable vacation.

Eine super Woche in der Toscana

Wir waren von 5.-11. September 2008 mit 2 Familien (davon über 10 Teenager) in der Casa Mennone. Unsere Erwartungen wurden sogar übertroffen. Das Haus ist unglaublich geräumig und selbst bei Vollbelegung mit 17 Personen nicht "überlastet". Jedes der Zimmer ist auf seine Weise hübsch, so dass bei der Zuteilung der Zimmer niemand unglücklich war.

Der Zustand ist sehr sauber und gepflegt. Highlight ist der riesige Außenbereich mit Pool, Spa und Liegewiese. Hier kann man in Ruhe entspannen und den schönen Ausblick genießen. Auch die restliche Ausstattung lässt keine Wünsche offen. das kostenlose W-LAN haben wir reichlich genutzt. Es gibt sogar einen orig. Pizza Holzofen.

Durch die Lage ist man natürlich auf Autos angewiesen. Zu Fuß erreicht man die umliegenden Dörfer in etwa 20 Minuten. Dort gibt es eine Pizzeria und eine Bar. Zum Großeinkauf fährt man ins Shopping-Center nach Marlia 15 min. mit dem Auto.

Besonders hervorheben möchte ich noch die freundlichen Hausherren. Es wird an nichts gespart. Ein besonderer Höhepunkt war die Einladung im Domizil der Vermieter. Vielen Dank für den super Abend in Ihrem Traumhaus!
