Located in the heart of the Lubéron Mountains, between Bonnieux and Saignon, 5 minutes from the Provençal market in Apt, this Provençal, 18th century farmhouse offers beautiful views of the Mont Ventoux. Quiet, green surroundings, property size of 1.5 hectare, gardens with typical stone walls and Provençal plants (plane trees, pine trees, cypresses, olive trees, fig trees, lavender...). Watered by springs that also feed the pond and the fountain.

Heated pool of 40 by 18 ft, secured by alarm system. Teak wood sun loungers, two terraces, one in the shade of centennial plane trees and the other surrounded by lavenders, olive trees and with a burbling fountain and cast iron garden furniture.

Charming interior and tasteful furnishings in a blend of Provençal and Indian styles. Large, well equipped kitchen with open fireplace and large glass doors opening to the pool area. Living room of 860 ft² with open fire place, in addition to a 540 ft² TV-room.

Provençal treasure

Our extended family from the US and Europe spent a magical week in this beautiful home. The house was not only perfect to explore the lovely neighboring villages of Saignon, Roussillon, Gordes, etc., but also to soak in the charm of this beautiful region at the house itself. The property has been lovingly restored, with equal attention directed at style and comfort, and the gardens are absolutely enchanting. The memories of lazy summer days spent by the pool, at the various seating areas surrounding the house, and playing table tennis with the kids will linger for a very long time. The house itself was well-stocked and impeccable. The experience of booking the rental, making arrangements, and getting into the house was seamless. The owners were easy to reach and always responsive to all our questions. We recommend this house highly and we ourselves look forward to returning soon.

Angaben im Internet waren absolut zutreffend, ein herrliches Haus, gepflegt, wunderbare Außenanlagen. Ein guter Ort der Erholung, auch für 14 Personen, die sich im Haus und auf dem großen Grundstück bewegen können und dabei nicht ständig alle zusammen sein müssen. Märkte, kleine charmante Orte drum herum und gut beschriebene Wanderwege ohne große Anfahrt. Zum Wohlfühlen!!! Christiane

Notre séjour a été une totale réussite !...

Lieu magique, décoré de façon admirable. Tout est bien pensé, fonctionnel et d'un goût exquis. Toute notre bande d'amis est tombée sous le charme : la piscine, les différentes terrasses, les platanes plus que centenaires, le jardin de plantes aromatiques, les fontaines...les grands espaces intérieurs avec les différents salons, les chambres aux dimensions généreuses et l'immense cuisine bien pratique quand on est 14 personnes.
Le domaine est très bien entretenu et la maison est impeccablement tenue.
Nous sommes prêts à y retourner !...

Perfect Holiday Experience

The Bastide St Andre is a spotless, spacious, beautifully renovated holiday home with restful decor and plenty of character. The kitchen is excellent, well-equipped, and well placed for outdoor entertaining. Beds are very comfortable and bathrooms well appointed. The garden is charming and full of wildlife - birds, butterflies etc. There are many areas outside to enjoy a glass of wine and the views: the main terrace near the pool, the lawn, the front of the house under giant trees, or the charming herb garden to name a few.
Although close to the town of Apt - which is very convenient - the property is peaceful and there is little, if any, noise from the surrounding area.
The house is well mantained and thoroughly cleaned. There is a local contact available for advice, or should any problems occur.
Highly recommended property. We enjoyed the perfect family holiday here.

merveilleuse demeure

Nous sommes partis à quatre couples avec plusieurs enfants de 10 à 16 ans et nous avons passé deux semaines formidables dans cette magnifique bastide. Souvent, en arrivant dans une location, nous avons peur que la maison ne soit pas à la hauteur de l'idée que l'on s'était faite d'après les photos. Nous nous attendions donc à trouver une maison décorée avec gout,spacieuse et conviviale,tout en ayant pour chacun un espace privé, puisque chaque chambre possède sa propre salle de bain.Mais lorsque nous avons commencé notre visite,nous avons été littéralement subjugués par cette merveilleuse demeure.Nous n'en dirons pas davantage afin que les prochains locataires puissent éprouver la même émotion en prenant possession des lieux, et nous remercions les propriétaires de nous laisser partager cela ainsi que pour leur gentillesse.
