Waimea is the perfect town. No, really, it is. It's country, yet cosmopolitan, located smack-dab in the middle of one of the largest privately owned cattle ranches anywhere, home to the headquarters of W.M. Keck Observatory, the most scientifically productive telescopes in the world, filled to overflowing with luscious, farm fresh produce (and farmer's markets) that supply the farm-to-table restaurants Merriman's, Red Water Cafe, Village Burger to name just a few, add to that the top-notch cultural hub of the Kahilu Theatre and don't forget that everything is within walking distance, what more could you possibly ask for?

Hi! Thanks for stopping by.
We have lived on the Big Island for 12+ years. We love the outdoor lifestyle, hiking, swimming, kayaking & snorkeling as often as we can. In our humble opinion, Kamuela is an absolute gem of a town, the very best place on the Big Island to live. We love the central location for ease of access to both sides of this amazing place, and can't wait to share some of the greatest insider tips with you!
The suite is beautiful! Brand new and so many thoughtful touches. Beautiful finishings throughout. Loved having two bathrooms for our family of 4, as well as a washer and dryer to use after we we caught in a mid-day shower. The location is great just 1-3 minutes to all of the shops & restaurants in Waimea. We visited two farmers markets on Saturday and the kitchenette was prefect for preparing our dinner and breakfast. The king bed was so comfortable with nice linens and so was the sofabed. The location was quiet and Zoe and Scott were easy to reach by text on our day of arrival and departure. The directions to the home and to access the suite were easy to follow. We didn't need to contact them at all during our stay as the suite had everything we could have asked for! Highly recommend this suite for those coming to explore this part of the Big Island.
Beautifully decorated and close to everything. Has everything you may need.Comfortable bed and modern big bathroom. i highly recomend staying here. Zoe and Scott are super! Ask Zoe about her pottery!Amazing
We had a really nice time here. it was a great apartment.
Waimea is much closer to the coast than you would think. We easily drove to the beach one day for some snorkling, as well as north to Havi.
That part of the island is smaller than it looks on the map.
The place was perfect.
Big comfy bed.
2 bathrooms. The tiled shower was awesome.
There were lots of little extras that made this place great:
They had beach towels, a cooler, disposable silverware, wrapped in napkins all set to go for a day at the beach.
They have a shed with beach chairs, snorkels, masks, fins, etc.
I would definitely stay here again if we find ourselves in the region.
A fantastic place. Fully equipped with everything you might need. A lovely retreat and beautifully decorated. I would definitely love to stay here again! Highly recommended.
Cannot say enough about how wonderful our stay was! This property had everything and then some! Just bring some food and clothes and you are set for a fabulous adventure! We we able to do everything we had hope from this home! Snorkel, 4 wheel the Waipio Valley, listen to a fabulous concert at the Kuhio Theater, explore the town from the back door down a lovely trail.....could not have asked for more! Check out the Redriver Cafe! EXCELLENT!
Very nice! Quiet, clean, & comfortable! A great base from which to explore the North side of the island. Zoe's restaurant recommendations were top notch!
Nicely decorated apartment with private entrance. Scott and Zoe were friendly and hospitable with great communication. We enjoyed the king sized bed and optional down pillows. Very nice stacking washer and dryer. Having 2 bathrooms was not essential for the 2 of us, but may benefit future guests. Wish we would have more time to check out the convenient walking trail and utilize the water toys.
