This luxury beach front home on the Isle of Palms is located only 25 minutes from Historic Downtown Charleston. Built in 1995 by Ilderton Contractors, known for their environmentally friendly homes and detailed woodworking, the house has 6 bedrooms, with upstairs and downstairs dens on the ocean side for group gatherings.

The first floor offers a spacious, hardwood foyer leading into an elegant sunken living room surrounded by columns. The living room is equipped with an entertainment center with T.V., DVD player, and stereo. Adjacent are breakfast and dining areas and a large open kitchen featuring all new appliances. All dinnerware and cookware are provided. The kitchen and living room overlook the ocean and lead to a spacious screened porch offering a dining area, ceiling fans, and rocking chairs. On the first floor is a Queen BR and a King BR with a full bath in the hallway. There is a half bath in the foyer.

The house also features two uncovered decks equipped with a grilling area. A spacious backyard is perfect for special occasions, plenty of outdoor activities, and offers a private winding pathway leading to the beautiful beach of Isle of Palms. As a convenience, private outside showers are located underneath the home, as well as beach chairs and boogie boards.

On the second floor, a King Master BR with a full glass shower provides an invigorating view of the ocean. Also, a large Queen BR has it's own art nook and private shower. Adjacent, a large den opens onto the upstairs deck. There are 2 Bedrooms sharing a full tub and shower, each with 2 twin beds with trundles allowing 4 people per room. Fresh linens are provided. A departure cleaning service is provided. There is parking for 4 cars under the house and 4 in the driveway.

This is our second home we live in 6 months of the year. The home is made available as a gift for family and friends of family.

PERFECT LONG WEEKEND VACATION!!

Thank you so much to Carolyn and John for letting us stay in your beautiful home! There was not one disappointed house guest. The accommodations were wonderful, and the location with it's private beach entrance is perfect. The screened in porch was very relaxing and all the rooms were spacious. The master bath had a Beautiful shower with a breathtaking view of the ocean. The second floor balcony also gave you breathtaking views of the ocean. Carolyn was so easy to communicate with if I had any questions! Without a doubt if my family comes down again, this is where we would want to stay.

AWESOME BEACH HOUSE!

What more can I say? This is the 6th time that we have rented this house, time of year usually in the Spring or Fall. Excellent owners to rent from, very accommodating and accessible. House is always clean and well equipped. Owner always informs us of recent upgrades. House is in excellent beach location, Oceanfront, about 1 mile from downtown Isle of Palms area. Also just a few miles from Sullivan's Island Restaurants and Shopping.

ANOTHER GREAT WEEKEND ON IOP

It is now an official tradition along with the Boone Hall Plantation Oysteroast every January. The weather was not as pleasant as the accommodations, but we stayed toasty warm while cooking and playing games in the house. Thanks again and looking forward to next year already!

GREAT HOUSE! PERFECT FOR 15 PEOPLE

My family, which came from Buffalo, Colorado, Pennsylvania, and Columbia met for a great family weekend. Parents had their 50th anniversary and this house was perfect for us. Plenty of room for everyone. Big kitchen opens into the dining room, which opens into the family room. Access to the beach is great! I would highly recommend this place. We will be back!

MEMORIAL WEEKEND GATHERING

We are a group of 14 extended family members who stayed at this beautiful home while attending my nephew's wedding in Mt Pleasant. The location was perfect with unobstructed views of the ocean. An easy walk down a path to the spectacular beach. We were very comfortable in this large home with ample bedrooms and bathrooms. Floor plan works well for a large group with bedrooms at one end of the house and kitchen at the other.
The house was clean but quite worn. Wood floors in need of refinishing; cupboards need repainting. When we checked in we discovered 2 large, flying, cockroach-like insects in the upstairs twin bedrooms. Made us nervous but we killed them and had no further bug problems. On the day of check-in I called the owner (the number listed on the home's information sheet) because we couldn't find the iron. Left a message but the call was never returned. The French door leading to the covered porch is extremely difficult to shut properly and lock due to a warped frame. A lot of TLC would make this beautiful home worthy of it's high price.

GREAT FOR MULTI-GENERALTIONAL GATHERING
