About Karen Sheasby
My husband was born and raised in Keene and I have lived here for over 20 years. We have been married for over 10 years and between us we have six children and two grandchildren. We now winter in the Florida Keys for 6 mos of the year and our son manages the property during the winter months. We spend the other 6 mos of the year either here at our home or visiting family and friends. We decided we wanted to share the beauty and tranquility this home and property have to offer.
Karen Sheasby purchased this house in 1998
Why Karen Sheasby chose Keene
Although we live in Keene, we spent many weekends on this property at our 'camp' that we built on it in 1998. The more time we spent up here the more we didn't want to leave. We built our new home on the property adjacent to our 'camp' so we could enjoy the beauty and privacy this property offers. The camp became our guest cottage for family and friends. We have spent a lot of time improving the property around our home and take great pride in all we've done. We love everything about our home and can't imagine not owning it. We have built several raised bed vegetable gardens and enjoy spending the time growing the many vegetables and fruits we love.
What makes this house unique
Enjoy total privacy and seclusion on our 50+ acres that surround the property. There are many trails that you can take nature walks on throughout our property. Our closest neighbors are a half mile away. A breathtaking panoramic view overlooking the valley south towards Giant, Noonmark and Dix Mtns. Certainly one of the best views in town!
