Do NOT miss booking this adorable cottage with stunning view. This highly popular cottage books quickly and is rarely available, it is often booked a year in advance.

Unique, non smoking, home on the Intercoastal Waterway, stunning view from the great room and deck. Marina, shipstore, and restaurant next door. 5 Minutes from Downtown Beaufort, golf courses, Parris Island. 30 minutes to Hilton Head, 50 mins to Savannah, 90 mins to Charleston. Got a boat? This is the perfect place to rent - the Port Royal Landing Marina is next door.

The house is very sunny, bright, and beachy, a little jewel. 2 Bedrooms, 2 Baths. It was renovated just 2 years ago. Upgrades included new wood floor in great room, new tile in kitchen, all new appliances and upscale furnishings, decor from Pottery Barn and Crate & Barrel etc. King size bed in master. Twin beds in guest room. THIS IS NOT YOUR TYPICAL RENTAL, there are very few like it.

This rental is constantly in demand. It is very clean, with lots of special touches, and we take care to make sure guests are supplied with things are other rentals don't offer.

Pass the time sitting on the deck with a book and a glass of wine, or just watch the dolphins and boats pass by on the waterway, or the pelicans and osprey diving for fish. Got a boat? You can keep an eye on it at the marina next door right from the deck. You can walk to the marina in just a minute, and have cocktails at 'The Back Porch'. You can even charter a fishing boat there. This is a unique rental opportunity. (7 night minimum stay)

Sorry, Association rules do not permit boat or jetski trailers, RVs, or motorcyles in the driveway. If you plan on bringing your trailerable boat, motorcyle, etc. let us know first-we can try to help find a spot for it!

We and our three beloved dog "children" had the best time at this lovely home! Tuesdi was a wonderful hostess, the place was clean, inviting, and the decor was fabulous!! The restuarant at the Marina was wonderful, as was many others in the area, our fav being "Fat Pattis", wonderful grass fed burgers, great little bar!! The week was a wonderful experience, lovely neighborhood, friendly people, the weather was great! Highly recommend!!!

WOW! This property is all that you can ask for to spend time in the Beaufort area. The waterfront views are amazing! The cottage is very clean with all expected amenities. It is conveniently located for fishing, golf, kayaking, biking or just beaching it. Nearby Beaufort has amazing history and many restaurants. The owner was very personable and was willing to assist in any way they could. Would definitely recommend this property. Be sure to check out the Marina restaurant, as well as Dockside. The only thing missing from this lovely place are ceiling fans. Something that we are used to in moving the air and helping with cooling the house. I will certainly look to rent this property again!

Last Minute Get Away

My husband and I needed a last minute getaway, while searching VRBO I came across Shipwright cottage. Tuesdi was very easy to work with at the last minute. The cottage was awesome.The view off the deck of the marsh and boats at the marina was great. The neighborhood looked like a movie set. The best hamburgers we have ever eating were within walking distance at the marina resturant. Beaufort and Parris Island are just minutes away. We both fell in love with the cottage and the area. Can't wait to go back again.

WOW! We couldn't ask for a better place to spend our vacation. The waterfront views can't be beat! The cottage is conveniently located for fishing, golf, kayaking, biking or just beaching it. Nearby Beaufort has amazing history and many restaurants. We'll be back next year!

You are in for a pampered holiday when you rent this home.

The interior has soft but vibrant beach colors throughout the entire home. Everything looks fresh. It is bright, spotlessly clean, and comfortable. The layout and flow from living room/dining room/kitchen commands a panoramic view of the Beaufort River and the ever-changing marshes and horizon.

You don’t have to go to the water. You are on the water. I took so many pictures because every few minutes the spectacular view changes. Looking up the river is like viewing a low country painting.

The bedrooms are decorated in cool, relaxing tones. The king size bed in the master bedroom is luxurious.

The house has everything you need to enjoy a week or a month there. When you venture out, the location is close to downtown Beaufort and all the great restaurants and shops. The Publix is right over the bridge as are numerous pharmacies, yet the neighborhood is quiet.

We plan on scheduling future vacations around its availability. It will meet your high standards for a memorable stay. It is a unique find where your mind and body will unwind.

I would definately recommend this property. In fact, I am trying to talk my in-laws into coming "South", and letting us rent it for them for a month. It is a great introduction into the best of the area.

The owner had brochures in the home for all the local sites and restaurants. She provided a local number for a management agent should any problems arise. There were no surprises. The listing photos definately are what you see is what you get. GET IT!
