Our neighborhood is called Port Royal, which is an association composed of approximately 50 single family homes of people who love the ocean and everything it has to offer. Bimini has two islands: north and south Bimini, and they are very different from each other. South Bimini is a laid back island specially chosen by fisherman, divers, beach and pool lovers, sports bar and restaurants are available too. Here you can find kayak rentals, fishing, diving and snorkel charters. Beach combing on white sand beaches with crystal clear turquoise water is part of the amenities. While north Bimini has casinos, discos, clubs, bars and restaurants. Both islands are great in their own way, but in our South Bimini house you are going to find Island Charm and luxurious amenities with the privacy of your own home.
From the airport to the house you can take a taxi for $5 per person. South Bimini is only 3 miles long. The house has 8 complementary bicycles available for its guest’s enjoyment. If you want to visit North Bimini, you can ride your bike to the water taxi. For $2 they will take you and your bike across. There are also golf cart rentals on either island available. You can take a bus to move through the island as well. If you want to dive or snorkel there is a dive operation at the end of the street. There are also fishing charters available for half or full day on north and south Bimini.

Boating, Diving and Fishing paradise.
Quiet, close to USA, crystal clear water and beaches. Nice, friendly people.
We had an amazing experience at Vinnie's place. By far the nicest place we have stayed at in Bimini. The house was spacious and beautiful. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed. The outside grill area was clutch. The bathroom and balcony upstairs is beautiful and the views are breath taking! Vinnie was very accommodating and checked in with us to make sure we arrived safely and everything was copasetic . We had some boat complications and he offered to help us. The beach close by is beautiful and now one of my favorites because I was proposed to on this trip. We will definitely visit again and stay at Vinnie's because it is amazing and holds an extra special memory for us!
Our first Bimini vacation. Amen to all the previous praise for Vinnie and this house. Marble floors and counter tops; fully equipped kitchen; DirecTV; toll-free phone service; beautiful master suite upstairs; large gas grill with several filled LP tanks. We ate, slept, and fished, but you are only a short ferry ride from the casinos if so desired. Caretaker, Marvin, stopped by often to ensure everything was OK. Neighbor from Lakeland, FL is a great guy who stopped by to offer help and advice. We bought fuel and ice at Bimini Sands. All their people were courteous and helpful. Get the Bimini Bread at the Ship's Store. As great as this place is, the primary reason why you should not look any further for your Bimini vacation is the owner, Vinnie. He told us up front he would be our concierge and he was that and more. He was our float plan to ensure we crossed safely in our boat. He called when we arrived to ask if we needed anything and checked in twice more to ensure we were OK. He patiently answered all the trivial questions a Bimini "newbie" would ask then went further with fishing tips and advice. We caught our family's first marlin a couple of miles west of the Sapona wreck in 750 ft of water. Stop looking around and book this place!
As great as this house is, and it's wonderful, the best part of the experience was working with our host, Vinnie. This our second VRBO rental and we are 2 for 2 with wonderful hosts. This being our first our first trip to Bimini, we had lots of somewhat trivial questions. Vinnie was patient and answered each one, offering additional information each time. He was our float plan to ensure we crossed safely in our boat. He was absolutely right about everything he told us. Caretaker Marvin stopped by about every other day to ensure everything was OK and to offer assistance. Neighbor from Lakeland, FL is a great guy and came over to say hello while there for the weekend. We caught our first marlin a few miles west of the Sapona wreck in 750 ft. of water, a lifetime experience for us. The staff at Bimini Sands Resort, where we bought fuel and ice, were great. Get some Bimini Bread at the Ships Store. We expect to go back and stay at the same house.
10 of us (all family) stayed the week at this house. 8 slept very comfortably in the house while the other 2 slept on our 36' Boston Whaler that we docked in back. House was is great shape and everything was cleaned prior to us arriving. We never ran into any problems during our stay. The owner (Vinnie) could not have been any more accommodating. He filled us in on everything about the house and the island. He went above and beyond to make sure our stay was flawless. I would HIGHLY recommend this house to anyone traveling to Bimini.
Spent the weekend here with 2 other couples. The house has a great kitchen/family/dining area with everything you need to entertain. Kept the boat tied off on the wonderful dock. Quiet peaceful neighborhood. Excellent bbq area. Vinnie was a fantastic host. Thanks Vinnie!!
As most of the other reviews have alluded, the owner Vinnie was extremely accommodating and helpful. Everything was laid out very well for our fishing trip. The dock was set up perfectly with electricity, cleaning area, and lighting. The house was extremely well maintained and, as promised, the kitchen was set up very nicely for cooking for a large group of fishermen. We would definitely stay here again. Be sure to try the seafood pizza at Mackey's Sand Bar.
