Alhambra is an extremely quiet development of only 39 houses adjacent to Capistrano Village and one which is recognised as one of the best in Nerja. A cul-de-sac with a community pool set in spacious gardens and views of the sea and mountains, it makes for a very peaceful and relaxing holiday venue. The villa is privately owned and enjoys a wonderful position with stunning views from the large, split level roof terrace. Nerja town and the beaches are within 15 minutes walk. A large supermarket can also be reached in 10 minutes, with a smaller one even closer. The closest beach is that at Burriana, around 1 km. The beach is lined with shops and a variety of good restaurants and cafes. If you are using a car, there are lots of isolated coves and beaches to be discovered along the coast. * Please note that while the property is not described as wheelchair accessible, there are only a few steps to negotiate before entry, either at back or front door. *PAYMENT ACCEPTED IN EUROS OR £.

Nerja is a small, unspoilt town on the Costa del Sol which enjoys a wonderful year round climate. Although not a big resort, Nerja is a vibrant community boasting an international selection of restaurants and bars, some lovely local shops and with ample amenities and many places of interest nearby. Granada, Seville, Cordoba, Ronda and Malaga are all within one to three hours drive or can be reached by public transport or arranged tour. The motorway from Malaga airport runs all the way to Nerja (about 75kms) and exits close to the famous Nerja caves and the lovely village of Maro. Other nearby attractions include lake Vinuela, a beauty spot well worth a visit if only to view the incredible turquoise colour of the water. On the way there is the large shopping mall at El Ingenio, between Torre del Mar and Velez Malaga, about 20 kms back towards Malaga. There are also various white mountain villages to visit. Nerja has several beaches, the nearest to the house being Burriana.

Notes: Accommodation as follows: Main door to entrance hall with twin bedroom and shower room/toilet off. Steps leading to lower level with lounge, dining area and separate kitchen. Sliding patio doors lead to terrace with steps to a large patio. The upper level has the master bedroom with balcony and a large bathroom. The roof terrace covers virtually the whole house. The villa can sleep six if hiring two camp beds, cots, or similar. Outside on the terraces and patio there are three tables, four chairs, four sun loungers and two convertible loungers/chairs. There is a sun canopy and portable parasol. The roof terrace can be illuminated, while the patio/terrace also has two outdoor lights. The communal pool is just a few yards away across the street, while there is a brand new indoor public pool 10 minutes walk away. *Please note that while the property is not described as wheelchair accessible, there are only a few steps to negotiate before entry, either from the back or front door.

More about the house.: Situated on the opposite side of the cul-de-sac from the swimming pool affords extra peace and quiet to the property, and from the lower side of the split level roof terrace, the immediate, close up view is of a hill populated by olive trees with the mountains beyond. This makes for a very tranquil environment for outdoor dining or indeed just a quiet drink or whatever. From the upper roof terrace the pool can be seen across the street and beyond is a lovely view of Nerja town and the Mediterranean. At the main door of the house there is a small garden and to the other side a terrace and large patio also suitable for dining. The master bedroom has its own sizeable private balcony. The oven and hob in the kitchen have been replaced recently, as has the double bed in the master bedroom. The cable TV service supplies all five UK land channels plus others, along with Sky Sports 1 and 2, two or three movie channels, and some Spanish, German, French and other European TV networks.

The good life!: Imagine yourself sitting on the roof terrace or the Patio, sunning yourself by day or eating outdoors and sipping a favourite drink in the evening, with the beautiful scents of Jasmine and Dama de Noche wafting in the night air!
