This beautiful old Menorcan farmhouse built in stone and wood beams is totally refurbished to a very high standard. Located in a natural protected area with plenty of birds, surrounded by rural lands, adjacent to the Cami d'es Cavalls (historical coastal pathway) and close to the beach of Son Bou and the virgin beach of Atalix, the house benefits from some sea views and a lot of intimacy.

The house is ideal for a family or a group of up to 10 people, or 2 families willing to enjoy nature and tranquility. The house is split in 2 levels and there is also an independent studio. The ground level has a fully equipped kitchen, a dining room open to a living space with an old chimney. Also, on the ground floor are located a bathroom, a double bedroom, a master bedroom with en-suite bathroom and a separate laundry room. On the first floor, a first large twin bedroom with a balcony and a bathroom, leads to a master bedroom with terrace and an en-suite bathroom. A separate building located few meters from the house hosts an independent studio, perfect for friends or maid service.

Most of the furniture's are of antique Menorcan style carefully selected by the owner. The garden has plenty of fig and wild olive trees and a private pathway leads to a wonderful woodland.

I fell in love with Menorca when I discovered the island in the 80's. When I found in 2001 this little paradise called Es Verger, I did not hesitate, invested all my savings and refurbished it, adding comfort but keeping the charm of an old menorcan country house.

Nous recommandons vivement ce petit coin de paradis pour les amoureux de la nature, de la campagne et de la mer. Nous venons a peine de revenir de cet endroit paradisiaque et avons deja envie d'y retourner.
La maison est a la fois isolee et proche d'un village. Nous avons beaucoup apprecie la poximite du chemin d'es caballs qui est adjacent a la propriete et qui permet a pied d'acceder à une tres belle plage vierge.
L'interieur de la maison a beaucoup de charme et les repas sous les oliviers sauvages autour de la piscine sont inoubliables.

THE BEST FARMHOUSE IN MENORCA

"Es Verger" its the PARADISE. A beautifull farmhouse located in a natural area very near to the beach. You can go by bicycle to the best beach in the island Son BOU or walk trow the pathway "cami de cavalls" to a virgin beach. the house its very well situated in the centre of the island and allows you to go easily to every were.

The house its and old Menorcan farmhouse beautifully refurbished by his owners, Robert has done a great job and a lot of effort in his refurbished. The structure of the house its simple and the "mares" stone gives the house strong texture and protect from the hot temperatures. The swimming pool its well designed and the outdoor terrace its the best place to stay. Under the "acebuches" trees its the place to sleep the "siesta" and to enjoy a romantic and non romantic dinner. The breeze of the sea runs always and melt with the smell of the fig trees. Its nice to feel the nature so near and to ear the intimacy of your family.

inside the house its great to see that the bedrooms are big and the bathrooms has italian showers where you can have a longs showers where to take off the sun and the salt of beach. The beds are comfortable and the house its nice furnished.

so i´d definitely recommend it.

all the family are now waiting for our next 3 weeks summer holidays in this paradise. enjoy them but kept them to yourself.

The farmhouse is located in a natural protected area of particular beauty, which is adjacent to the village of Torre Soli Nou. The access to the property is through the Cami d'es Cavalls, a short rural road and path walk which surrounds the island by the coast. Between the house and the sandy coast there is a virgin wild and wet area ideal for bird watching. Torre Soli Nou has necessary shops, pharmacy, restaurants and bars. The closest town, Alayor is at 6km from the house. The house is ideally located with easy access to each corner of the Island. For example the golf course of Son Parc is 15km from the house, the historic city of Ciutadella is 30km away and the harbour of Fornells is 20km away. The Cami d'es Cavalls, which is adjacent to the property, will lead you to virgin beaches accross wonderful countryside areas.

Other Activities: Bird watching, classic concerts, weekly typical and colourful village feasts with horses.
