Salmon, sea trout and brown trout. It is excellent for fly fishing as water reaches 48 degrees for most of the day. We can advise on best type of fly to use. The River Laune is 18 miles long from the Lakes of Killarney to Killorglin. Sea Fishing - Day Trips; This is a fantastic day out and can be arranged through a local expert.

The walk from Knockreer House to Ross Castle is offers some great views, while the slightly longer trek along the shoulder of Mangerton Mountain includes parts of the Old Kenmare Road.
