About Patricia Smith

I live with my husband David, our dogs Ventoux and Toby, our cat Lily and 3 hens. We both love the Dorset coast, the Isle of Purbeck in particular. We enjoy hiking the coastal path, boating, canoeing and generally take advantage of living in the relaxed atmosphere of this area.

Patricia Smith purchased this bungalow in 2005

Why Patricia Smith chose Poole

We have lived in this area for 30 years and find the relaxed atmosphere of living by the coast in such a beautiful are hard to beat. I think that most guests who stay at Pinetop feel the same.

.

What makes this bungalow unique

All the living area and garden are on one level. Pinetop is in a tranquil area you can be in Poole in 5 minutes and the beaches in 15 minutes.

Cosy, comfortable cottage

  • 5 of 5

We are returning to Pinetop Cottage in 2010, after staying for a month in 2009. Excellent location, private and comfortable situation. All amenities on site. Clean, with good interior decoration. Patio and garden. What more can we say - it's a great holiday destination, located close to shopping, sea, heritage sites and Jurassic coast.

We had a great time. Weather e a little unsettled however we managed to a get out on the bikes 4 out of the 6 days. Great to come back to a comfortable homely place. Cottage was home from home and recommend it. Will most definable book it again in the future. Thanks a lot. Jenny Jim Derek and Faith. Torquay Devon.

Lovely little cottage with everything you need.

  • 4 of 5

We had a lovely week in Poole and we were very happy with the cottage. It had everything you could possibly need and was very comfortable and dog friendly. We were very lucky with the weather which was a great help as we could go out all day every day. We stayed in most evenings and enjoyed cooking dinner together in the lovely peaceful cottage. Very reasonably priced, I am going back for a week in August.

Beautiful cosy cottage

  • 5 of 5

We stayed in this lovely cosy cottage for a long weekend in April. We found comfy beds, the cottage was beautifully clean and homely and so quiet and peaceful we didn't want to leave! Ideally situated for anyone wanting to explore Poole and the local attractions.

A hidden gem

  • 5 of 5

A very pretty cottage in a quiet area with a charming landlady living next door, which is helpful, when a question arises.

The cottage is extremely well equipped, including a stock of tourist information, that probably would put a real Tourist Office to shame - very helpful.

In case there is a spell of rain and you don´t want to go out all day, there is a choice of family games, books, CDs and DVDs.

Alternatively you could probably cook a 3 course menue without running out of anything you might need in the kitchen, cutlery, crockery, pots,...

It´s certainly a good base to discover this part of Dorset (but you do need a car), a variety of interesting places / walks are within reach (the Pier and Oceanarium at Bournemouth, Poole Harbour, Kingston Lacy, Corfe Castle, Old Harry´s Rock,...)

We had a very pleasant stay - thank you!

Comfortable, clean, well located property

  • 3 of 5

Pinetops is a really comfortable and well located bungalow for access to all Poole has to offer. The accommodation was clean and provided everything we needed for a week's holiday. We would recommend it to anyone who wants to visit the area.

Owner's Response: Very disappointed in the 3 star rating . Apparently these guests did not like the fact that there are trees in the garden !!
