The apartment is ideally situated approx 500 metres from the coast on the outskirts of Lapta with local shops and the beach all within walking distance. The coast road takes you to Kyrenia with its enchanting Venetian harbour and onto Bellapais which was made famous by Lawrence Durrell's 'The Bitter Lemons of Cyprus'.
There are many restaurants within walking distance whilst those further afield will often supply a free taxi service to their customers.
There are sandy beaches all along the coast road and a brand new water park within 2 minutes drive. The apartment is also within walking distance of the only bowling green in Northern Cyprus.
The border with the South is approx 30mins away whilst the wild expanse and breathtaking beaches of the Karpaz peninsula can be reached in about 2 hours.
For lovers of history there are numerous castle's inc Kyrenia Castle that houses the oldest shipwreck in the world, the spectacular Bellapais Abbey and the Roman ruins at Salamis.
Wherever you are you always have the stunning mountain backdrop in view.
