Great Villa

We were very pleased with the Villa, especially the outside area around the pool. It was all as described, clean and well maintained. We particularly liked the open layout, the spacious master bedroom and vaulted roof space in the Kitchen/Sitting room. The BBQ was a great asset. It was clean and efficient. This is not easy to maintain in a rental property. We would certainly recommend the property
Our "house maid" Catherine was pleasant and very thorough. We never had to complain about any aspect of her work and the local representative responded promptly to deal with the very minor problems we had on arrival.
However, Bon Accord is not one of the best areas in Tobago and there is clearly going to be much more development around the Villa which will make it less attractive over time.
Tobago itself is a lovely island and the many people we met were delightful and always helpful and good humoured. The north of the Island is by far the most interesting especially the rainforest and the birdlife, but Tobago lacks the infrastructure to be a quality tourist destination. There are no good hotels on the Island: the only two golf courses on the island are sadly neglected and very expensive and we did not find a single restaurant anywhere that we would rate better than "average"
We loved the villa but i don't think we will return to Tobago
Owner's Response: I am very happy you loved the villa. We know Tobago is not a very developed tourist destination, but that is what many people love about it!
There is land behind the villa that may get built on in years to come but this may be a long way off and the villa does not even face that way. I doubt you would even notice it.
There is so much to discover in Tobago, I find new gems all the time. I hope we will see you again.
