Las Rosas, Los Gigantes.

We had a very nice and very quiet stay in Las Rosas. The house has stunning views to the cliffs, it was very clean and well equipped. In the complex there are around 100 terraced houses in a few walkways around the pool and the reception building where there is a bar restaurant and a small shop and a room with free wifi connection. Once or twice a week there is live music, quiet and not finishing too late. Staff is very helpful, always ready to give you a hand. Almost 100% of the guests were British what was something a bit exotic for us as a Spanish-Russian family. The place is about 10-15 min. walk to the black sand beach in Los Gigantes. The complex is very suitable for young children. We had with us a three year old who had the time of her life. Local shops are round the corner though prices are very high unless you have a 5 min ride by car to La Arena where there is a bigger Mercadona supermarket with prices at the same level of the rest of Spain and good quality white brands. Fresh fish is specially good there as it is packed and cleaned every day in a factory in Tenerife itself. You can anyway manage days without a car as Los Gigantes is well served by public transport and you can do dolphin and whale watching trips, hiking in the area of Masca and surely many more excursions offered by local tourist centres. Diving is also possible there. If you want a bit of local colour you can find it as well in Los Gigantes where there are some bars where you can eat in the local way. There is also a small surgery in case you need a doctor.
Very recommendable. I will probably go to the same place in a future trip to Tenerife.
