Home from home top floor apartment (atico) with terrace for al fresco dining in a traditional neighbourhood of Valencia City situated on Avenida del Puerto. Our Atico is surrounded by restaurants, tapas bars, supermarkets, transport - everything you need for a great holiday. Ideal for families as we cater for the little ones as well as well as couples, groups etc., Everything provided to make your holiday/stay as welcoming as possible. Local swimming pool is a 5 minutes walk away. Football stadium walking distance or a couple of stops on the metro. Formula One track and port/beach are a short walk away (the bottom of our road). The apartment is also a great base for Valencia's biggest festival 'Las Fallas'. An ideal all year round destination!

A 10 min walk down Ave del Puerto brings you to the Formula One track and port, walk a little further and you come to the splendid Malvarrosa beach, with fantastic restaurants including the famous La Pepica and trendy bars. Walk in the opposite direction (10 mins) takes you to the City of Arts and Science with the amazing L'Oceanogràfic: Europe's largest Aquarium. Metro station 'Ayora' is a 2 min walk from the atico which takes you direct to the airport which is on the same line (line 5) or to the city centre 4 stops. Alternatively you can take the bus - bus stops are minutes from atico. Great base for this Spanish Moto GP events, F1, Fallas and seeing the real side of Valencia. A great central location which has easy access to all parts of the wonderful city of Valencia and is ideal for all the family.

Additional information about rental rates

  • We require a 30% of the total booking price as deposit, subject to a minimum of 130euros. Your initial deposit will be carried forward as a security deposit, when you arrive. We return your security deposit AFTER you leave either by returning your cash, cheque or by bank transfer.
    Final payment is required 1 month prior to arrival, if booked less than a month in advance full payment is required.
  • Cleaning to be paid locally upon arrival 80Euros. We can arrange airport pick ups and the apartment is managed locally.
  • F1 and Las Fallas we charge a higher rate. NOTE We are still charging 2008 prices in 2009.

We had a really wonderful time in Valencia. I had not realised how easily we could travel around on foot - which is the best way to see everything and be able to enjoy all the sights thoroughly. This was particularly useful when you are pushing a two year old around in her buggy!

Because of the fantastic help and advice from the owners I felt that we got to see some (but not as many as I would have liked) of Valencia's delights. I still cannot get over just how much there is to do and see and all within walking distance of the apartment - absolutely brilliant!!

The accommodation was very good. It was nice and clean and very well equipped. The kitchen seemed to have everything we needed - particularly important when you have young children with you who may want to be fed before you go out in the evening. There were many well stocked supermarkets near by too.

Hopefully we will return to Valencia next year as it seemed to tick all the right boxes for our family.

I would certainly recommend this apartment to my family, friends and work colleagues and hope to have a girls get away weekend there too in the future!

We stayed at this apartment in September and had a great time. We were met by Baldo who showed us around and explained everything to us. A great location for exploring all of Valencia. It was good to be able to walk to the Arts and Science Complex or the beach, especially as we had a buggy with us. The local Metro Ayora a few minutes walk.

Super Wohnung!

Bei uns hat alles super gepasst - vom Abholen vom Flughafen bis zum sonnigen Urlaub! Die Wohnung ist gut gelegen, gleich bei mehreren Bushaltestellen, die für die Fahrt zum Strand oder in die Stadt optimal sind.
Außerdem ist die Ausstattung wirklich super, in der Küche ist eigentlich alles vorhanden (außer dem Geschirrspüler...), sogar Kinderteller und -besteck. Den Balkon genossen wir morgens und abends sehr, die Klimaanlage im Wohnzimmer ist goldwert, nur in den Schlafräumen wird es (zumindest im Juli) etwas heiß.

Kim hat uns alle Fragen im Vorfeld beantwortet und sich sehr bemüht, dass alles klappt.
Wir haben viel unternommen, natürlich fleißig gebadet, aber auch in der Stadt einiges gesehen. Optimal ist es (mit Kindern), am späteren Nachmittag in die Stadt zu gehen und sich einige Dinge anzusehen, zu bummeln, ein Eis zu genießen,... Im Stadtzentrum gibt es auch rund um die Uhr etwas zu essen, was in unmittelbarer Umgebung der Wohnung nicht der Fall ist (Pizzeria in der Nähe ca. ab 20.30 Uhr).
Aber auch die Selbstverpflegung klappt mit dieser gut ausgestatteten Küche wunderbar!
Für das Frühstück ist gleich ums Eck eine Bäckerei, sogar noch etwas näher liegt ein Obst- und Gemüsehändler, der auch Wasser verkauft und bereits ab 7.30 Uhr geöffnet hat.
Valencia ist sehr empfehlenswert - ebenso wie diese geräumige Wohnung!
