Guadalajara Villa Rental Photos and Description
134 Square Meters of Peace, Tranquility in a 10,000 square meters of garden
La Cabaña, as well as the other four houses in our Quinta, has been built with the idea of finally being able to do what my clients did not let me build for them. Either it was too expensive or too far out. God has been kind to me and let me enjoy the possibility of building what I really wanted to construct as an architect - La Cabaña is the Romantic contemporary house. The views from the living room, dining room, Kitchen, front porch and Guest/TV room of the 10,000 square meter garden are breathtaking, And if you like to a barbecue on the garden, the grill and the pool will seduce you!

About Sarahi Delgado Lucke
My name is Leopoldo 'Leo' is OK, I own Quinta Maria Luisa and live in the 'Old house' 75 meters away from La Cabaña, so if I am not traveling (maybe because some one wanted to stay in the 'Old house') because of business or pleasure, we will most likely meet. Since I was in the University, studying architecture I dreamed of 'La Quinta' and how I wanted it to be, and now, 'only 40 years later', its almost done, Now I am the CEO of a group of seven companies, some of them may serve you on your stay. I was born in August 1949 my father was a Mexican air force pilot, one of those of the 201 Mexican squadron in Philippines during the 2d. World War, and my mother an artist, singer, dancer, poet... I had to be an architect!. In one of my trips to Vancouver (I took my children to learn english there) we stayed for the first time in a VR, and it has all fallen in place, now there are five of the six houses that will eventually fill the space designated for houses, the rest will be, during my life time, a place to relax and be in touch with mother nature, we have tends of humming birds and hundreds of different ones feeding in our garden, Parrots and squirrels and since we are right in the edge of the city some spiders. I feel blessed for being granted the opportunity to make my dream come true in this place, I am very proud of it so I would appreciate any feed back on how to make it closer to heaven.
Sarahi Delgado Lucke purchased this villa in 1952
Why Sarahi Delgado Lucke chose Guadalajara
Four generations ago Great Grandma bought the land and we started building 'Quinta Maria Luisa' in a time, when coming here was truly like a Journey to another world, now the city has reached us. My father was a diplomat, an Air Force attache who was transfer once and again from one Embassy to another, but always coming back to Guadalajara as a base, he has gone to his final 'landing strip' but left me in charge of what has become my home since thirteen years ago. My mother (85), my youngest daughter (17), and I call this home, I had three children and adopted four more (I like children) so the houses you will be staying at have been build and furnished with love (I am an architect) since some day it will be theirs. when I was a child it was a chicken farm, latter an avocado farm (still 200 avocado trees in the garden), I made a 'Quinta' out of it and started planning how it would be when I was studying Architecture, 40 years ago.
What makes this villa unique
I did not choose to love this place, I was born into it, its a part of me as an eye or a leg, but much prettier, specially now that I am growing old, but its also classy, fine, tranquil, and you can go to an avocado tree, cut a couple of them and make 'guacamole'... life does not get much better than that.
