Palm Springs Condo Rental Photos and Description
More Than 1500 Sq. Feet Luxury. 2 Totally Private Master Bedroom Suites.
3 Levels for complete privacy: The ultimate townhouse for 2 couples. There are 2 master bedroom suites, each with queen beds and new 'memory foam' mattresses. The 2 master bedroom suites are separated by the main living area on the 2nd floor. The first floor Suite has a private courtyard. Third floor Suite has a private balcony. The main floor separates the two Master Bedroom Suites, and provide the utmost in privacy.
Offering over 1,500 sq. ft. of living space, highlights of this tri-level residence include high ceilings, granite countertops, a private patio plus separate deck, and attached two car garage! The second floor (main living area) has an open living room with high ceilings and fireplace; kitchen with access to exterior deck that offers mountain views plus the adjacent dining room; and powder bath. This unit has an attached, 2 car garage. The unit also has a washer and dryer. Cable TV and WiFi (with an extended range N Router) makes this unit totally ready to go for your digital needs.
Just a short walk to downtown Palm Springs with dining, nightclubs and theaters. Only 3 blocks to the new Hardrock Hotel and only 2 blocks to the downtown Casino. Close enough to downtown to walk everywhere, but just far enough away to be peaceful and quiet.
Excellent bike paths and hundreds of miles of safe, flat pavement for avid cyclists. Less than 90 minutes to Big Bear Lake for world class mountain biking in Southern California's only chair lift served mountain bike park (in the summer). In the winter, there are 3 different ski resorts operating in the Big Bear Lake area, so bring your skis.
The townhouse is only a few miles from the world famous Palm Springs Aerial Tram that will take you from the valley floor (Palm Springs elevation is 446 feet) to the Mt. San Jacinto State Park, which is at 8,516 feet elevation. It is usually 25 degrees cooler at the top of the tram in the summer, and can accumulate several feet of snow in the winter. So you can actually snowshoe in the afternoon on Mt. San Jacinto, and 15 minutes later be enjoying a cocktail in your favorite restaurant in your tennis shorts and flip flops.
The townhouse is in the Villorrio development. This is one of the newer condominium complexes in central Palm Springs. It is a gated community, so access is controlled by you. There is a beautiful saltwater pool and 3 spas/hot tubs located around the development. There is fully equipped gym overlooking the pool. Gym equipment includes 2 full racks of free weights, treadmills, stationary bikes, ellipticals, and Hoist weight machines. Barbecues are available just outside the pool area.
There are dozens of golf courses within a 30 minute drive of the townhouse.

About Russell Bartz
Our full time home is in coastal San Diego County. We have lived in San Diego since 1976, which is when I moved here to attend San Diego State University.
Russell Bartz purchased this condo in 2011
Why Russell Bartz chose Palm Springs
We bought the townhouse in Villorrio because Palm Springs is just too much fun to be staying miles away from downtown (like most P.S. condos are). We wanted something close enough to downtown, but not too close to be noisy late into the night (Palm Springs does not go to bed early!). We are avid cyclists and Palm Springs provides us with the best winter road cycling in all of Southern California. When we stay at the townhouse, we ride our bikes, or walk everywhere. We rarely take our car out of the garage, and I imagine you will do the same; why drive and hassle with parking, when you can walk anywhere in downtown within 10 minutes?
What makes this condo unique
The view from the second floor deck is of the massive escarpment of the San Jacinto Peak. An escarpment is a steep slope or cliff. Ours, jutting from the desert floor to the 10,801-foot tip of San Jacinto Peak, is said to be the most extreme in North America. The steeper the escarpment, the more it feels as if the mountain is in your lap. Enjoy a glass of wine on the deck and marvel at the sheer magnitude of that 'rock'!
